15 Jan BATT Argentina “La Reserva #13” -Reporte de la corrida (13/01/2018)
Mucho se habló durante la semana acerca de la lluvia el fin de semana. Pero la mañana del sábado nos despertó con un cielo totalmente despejado.
Igualmente, como ustedes ya saben, nuestros eventos no se suspenden nunca. Por más que llueva, truene o se caiga el cielo abajo, el Equipo de Buenos Aires Time Trials estará todos los sábados a la mañana preparando las condiciones para que todos nuestros miembros puedan disfrutar de un evento seguro y una grata experiencia con toda nuestra comunidad.
Además, en el caso de que “La Reserva” se encuentre cerrada en el día, siempre podrán a algún miembro de Equipo de BATT en las inmediaciones de la Puerta de Viamonte, donde se organizarán las corridas utilizando nuestro recorrido “Alternativo”.
Finalizando con esta pequeña reseña informativa, como es su costumbre sábado a 
sábado, Agus, Pip y Seb llegaron a nuestra locación para chequear las condiciones del terreno y realizar todos los preparativos para el evento.
Esta semana, pese a la intensa ola de calor sufrida durante los últimos dias, dimos la bienvenida a nuestra comunidad a dos nuevos participantes. Zully y Jordy, quienes se animaron a sortear nuestro recorrido superando las altas temperaturas. Todo un desafío!!
Asimismo, Agus, nuestra habitual Coordinadora de Voluntarios, organizó con Zully para participar en el equipo de Voluntarios como Corredor/Peatón de cola. Esta tarea es una de las funciones claves para el desarrollo de los eventos.
Mantener la seguridad de todos los participantes es un valor fundamental en nuestra comunidad y el Corredor/Peatón de cola siempre lleva consigo un Teléfono Móvil con el que puede comunicarse con el Equipo de control en caso de presentarse algún contratiempo durante el transcurso de la corrida.
Todo el equipo estaba en su lugar, consejos de seguridad y anuncios comunicados a todos los participantes; y nuestros voluntarios proveían las ultimas indicaciones de seguridad a los corredores, mientras estos se preparaban y tomaban sus posiciones en la línea de largada.
Preparados, listos y Yaaaaa!!!!!! Y todos nuestros participantes se embarcaron a completar el recorrido …..
Juanjo, aceleró rápidamente y tomó la punta con un sólido ritmo. Y todo indicaba que buscaba superar los tiempos obtenidos en sus anteriores visitas.
Asimismo, uno de los nuevos participantes llegaba unos pocos segundos luego de comenzada la corrida, pero pudo reagruparse y junto a Seb retomaron la prueba.
Juanjo estaba realmente enfocado en el día y tras un fuerte “sprint” final, logró completar su tercera corrida en “La Reserva” en Primer lugar, 
logrando una nueva marca personal de 24:29. Felicitaciones JuanJo! Una gran performance y un gran merito teniendo en cuenta las altas temperaturas.
En segundo lugar, arribaba Jordi con un tiempo de 26:55; seguido por Seb que cruzó la línea final marcando 27:09.
A medida que los participantes concluían se agrupaban en el “área de Reunión” para refrescarse, estirar músculos y compartir un grato momento de distención.
Y para concluir, terminando una muy buena primera experiencia; arribaba nuestro Corredor/Peatón de cola del día Zully, quien con una bella sonrisa se unió rápidamente a la fiesta. Hahaha (Nuestro infaltable, gratificante y muy merecido “Tercer Tiempo” con Mate y Cookies).

BATT Argentina “La Reserva #13” -Run Report (13/01/2018)
During this week, there was a lot of talk about the forecasted rain over the weekend. But on Saturday morning we were awakened with a fantastic and clear blue sky.
As a reminder, as you all already know, our events are never suspended. No matter how much rain, nor thunders; the Buenos Aires Time Trials Team will always be there on Saturday mornings, to check the safety of the course and prepare all the conditions; so that all our members can enjoy a safe and a pleasant experience with the entire community.
In addition, in case that “La Reserva” is closed on the day, you will always be able to find the BATT Team in the surroundings of Viamonte Gate, where the runs will be developed using our Back-Up Course.
Finishing with this brief informative review, as it has been their custom over the last Saturdays; Agus, Pip and Seb arrived at our location to check the conditions and safety of the course and make all the preparations for the event.
This week, despite an intense heat wave suffered over the last few days, we welcome two new participants to our community. Zully and Jordy, who dared to overcome our journey despite the high temperatures. What a Challenge!
Furthermore, Agus, our Volunteers Coordinator, organised with Zully to participate in the Volunteers team as Tale Runner/Walker.
Thank you Zully!! This task is one of the key functions for the development of our events.
Maintaining the safety of all participants is a fundamental value in our community and the Tale Runner/Walker is always carrying a Mobile Phone with which it can communicate with the Control Team in case of any setback during the course of the run.
With all the equipment in place, safety tips and announcements communicated to all participants; Our volunteers gave the final safety instructions to the runners, while they were preparing and taking their positions on the start line
READY, SET and GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! And all our participants embarked to complete the course …
Juanjo, accelerated quickly and took the lead with a solid rhythm. And everything indicated that he was decided to overcome the times obtained in his previous visits.
Also, one of the new participants arrived a few seconds after the start of the race, but was able to rejoin and running together with Seb resumed the run.
Juanjo was really focused on the day and after a strong “sprint” finish, he managed to complete his third run in “La Reserva” in First place. Achieving a new personal record of 24:29. Congratulations JuanJo! A great performance and a great merit considering the high temperatures.
Arriving in second, was Jordy with a time of 26:55; followed by Seb who crossed the finish line in 27:09.
As the participants resumed their runs, they grouped in the “Meeting area” to refresh themselves, stretch their muscles and share a pleasant and relaxing time.
And to conclude. Finishing a very good first experience; was Tail Runner/Walker Zully, who completed the course with a beautiful smile and quickly joined the party. Hahaha (Our rewarding and well-deserved “Third Time” with Mate and Cookies).
