10 Apr BATT Argentina “La Reserva #25” – Reporte de la corrida (07/04/2018)
Llego el sábado y el Equipo de BATT Argentina arribó a “La Reserva” desde muy temprano para celebrar nuestro evento numero 25.
Las condiciones del día no eran tan malas, pero debido a la intensa lluvia sufrida durante todo el viernes, los guarda parques aseguraron que existía mucho barro y las condiciones no eran optimas para la Apertura del predio al público general.
Tras oír esto, rapidamente Agus y su equipo de Voluntarios se reorganizaron y se dispusieron a preparar el Recorrido Alternativo, para que todos nuestros participantes puedan disfrutar de otra gran experiencia con BATT Argentina.
Como fue comunicado anteriormente, exceptuando los casos en donde el Equipo de BATT Argentina determine que la salud y seguridad de los participantes puede estar comprometida; los eventos de BATT Argentina jamás se cancelan.

Agus aguardaba en la línea final y preparaba al equipo mientras Seb se disponía a dar su famosa vuelta de reconocimiento para chequear las condiciones del recorrido alternativo fueran optimas y seguras para el desarrollo del evento.
Y ya más cercanos a nuestro tiempo de largada, miembros y corredores se agrupaban en nuestra “Área de Reunión Alternativa” que es sobre la Puerta de Acceso de Viamonte. Seb proporcionó los característicos avisos iniciales para asegurar la seguridad de todos los
participantes especificando las características del nuevo recorrido y aprovechó para realizar algunas menciones especiales y premios para los participantes regulares. Finalizando como es costumbre, con un cálido aplauso para todos los voluntarios del día.
Luego de los breves anuncios de seguridad, Agus y todos los voluntarios tomaban sus posiciones mientras los corredores del día se dirigían a la Largada.
Algo de tensión y bastante expectativa en el aire por conocer el nuevo recorrido y detrás de la línea de partida, los corredores aguardaban ansiosos el anuncio inicial.
Vicky nos visitaba nuevamente, y como es su costumbre, se preparaba para dar el grito Inicial. Preparados, listos y Yaaaaa!!!!!! Y nuestros participantes arremetían en la primera recta del recorrido.
Una partida muy cerrada con un grupo muy parejo encarando 
nuestra primera vuelta. Y ya alrededor de los primeros 500mts, Bruno se establecía en la delantera, seguido por Armando, Dickson y Jordy.
El nuevo recorrido resultó ser muy cómodo para Bruno y a medida que se desarrollaba la corrida, lograba afianzarse más y más. Arnaldo, lo seguía de cerca y se consolidaba en la segunda posición mientras que Jordy, Dickson y Facu aún batallaban por el tercer escalón de nuestro podio.
Luego de un tiempo, y ya desde lejos, a más o menos 500mts, se podía divisar a Bruno que encaraba su último esfuerzo y alcanzaba cruzar la meta con un tiempo increíble de 18:50. Una excelente marca. Bien hecho Bruno. Excelente trabajo!
Arnaldo tomo la segunda posición,
finalizando la prueba en 20:17 y Jordy finalmente se quedó con la tercera posición finalizando en un tiempo de 21:45. Muy de cerca terminaba la prueba Facu cruzando la línea final en 21:57, dejando el quinto puesto para Dickson que terminaba en 22:13.
A medida que todos participantes del día fueron concluyendo la corrida, se iban agrupando para refrescarse, estirar y comenzar a disfrutar de la Torta traída para celebrar nuestros primeros 25 eventos.
Felicitaciones a todos los participantes por los increíbles tiempos conseguidos! Les recuerdo que lamentablemente, los mismos no pueden validarse como Marca Personales en “La Reserva” por no llevarse a cabo en el recorrido oficial.

BATT Argentina “La Reserva #25” – Run Report (07/04/2018)
It’s finally Saturday and the team of BATT Argentina arrived to La Reserva” early ready to celebrate our 25th event.
Weather conditions weren’t great but they were much better than on the previous day. Cause of Friday heavy rain, the park rangers kept the Gates of “La Reserva” closed because it was very muddy and not safe to open to the general public.
So, after hearing this, Agus and her Volunteers Team started to organise the Back-Up course, so all our participants can enjoy another great experience with BATT Argentina.
As it was made clear previously, with the exception of the cases where the BATT Argentina team determine that the health and safety of the participants could be compromised, the BATT Argentina events are never cancelled.

In the meantime, while Agus was getting everything ready in our base, and started welcoming our first participants. Seb was getting ready to perform his usual course recognition round to check that the back-up course conditions were safe and optimal to develop our run.
And getting close to our normal starting time, runners and members were getting together in our “Alternative Meeting Point” in front of the Viamonte Entrance Gate. After finishing his run, Seb got ready quickly and gave the usual general announcements and safety briefing to everyone, concluding his speech with a very warm applause and thanks to all the volunteers giving a hand on the day (Agus – Vicky – Ro – Carlos).
Once concluded the all the announcements, all the volunteers took their positions while the day runners start going to the stat line.
Tension and quite a bit of expectations to get around the new course, our intrepid participants were waiting for the initial starting signal.
Vicky was visiting us once again and as usual, she was getting ready to give the starting announcement.
READY…. SET….. GOOOOOO !!!!!! And all our participants pushed strongly into the first straight after Vicky’s Call.
The first metres were very tight, with all the runners trying to settle a solid position at the top of the field. And just around the 500mts mark, 
we could see Bruno clearly on top, followed by Armando, Dickson and Jordy.
The new back-up course, happened to really suits Bruno’s running style and over the run, he managed to consolidate a clear difference on the second. Armando, also performing really well on the day, also managed to stablish a clear difference on the rest; leaving the battle for the third step of the podium to Dickson, Jordy and Facu.
So, after some time, on the last 500mts, we could see Bruno approaching the finish line in a superb effort that help him cross the finish line with an incredible time of 18:50. Well done Bruno. Excellent Job mate!
Arnaldo managed to finish in second, closing the round in 20:17, and at the end, it was Jordy who managed to get the third position in a time of 21:45. Closely followed by Facu that crossed the finish line in 21:57, leaving the 5th position to Dickson who finished in 22:13.
Little by little our participants were finishing their runs and they were getting together in our “Meeting area” to refresh themselves, stretch their muscles and start enjoying the Cake and nibbles to celebrate our first 25 events.
Big congratulations to all the day participants for achieving these marvellous times! I have to remind you that sadly, those times cannot be validated as PB in “La Reserva” because they have not been performed in its Official Course.

Once again, please remember that we are getting close to our 25th event and it’s going to be a special one. With some awards and special recognitions, a few guests and of course, a few things eat.
