27 Nov BATT Argentina “La Reserva #58” – Reporte de la corrida (24/11/2018)
Nuevamente llegábamos al sábado y la cuidad nos regalaba un día soñado para disfrutar de nuestra corrida semanal en “La Reserva”.
Desde muy tempranas horas, el equipo de voluntarios de BATT Argentina entraba en acción y comenzaba con los preparavtivos
y chequeos de seguridad necesarios para poder llevar a cabo nuestro evento #58 para preservar la integridad y proteger la seguridad de todos nuestros participantes, y mientras se llevaban a cabo estos preparativos, el resto equipo de voluntarios y diversos participantes del día se agrupaban en nuestro “Punto de Encuentro”.
En el día, dábamos la bienvenida a Gaby y Leonardo, que nos visitaban por primera vez, por lo que Seb, nuestro voluntario encargado, conversaba con ellos y les brindaba algunos consejos de seguridad; para así conocerlos un poco mejor y poder tomar todos los recaudos necesarios para mantener su seguridad.
Además, luego de varias semanas en el interior del país, nos visitaba nuevamente Bruno, uno de nuestros antiguos participantes, que rápidamente se integraba y mezclaba entre nuestros miembros más recientes.
Todos nuestros eventos se pueden llevar a cabo gracias al valioso aporte y voluntad de nuestros miembros. Todos y cada uno de ellos es un vital participante. Los eventos de BATT Argentina los hacemos entre todos.
“BATT Argentina ES LA CARA DE TODOS SUS PARTICIPANTES”
Hay tareas muy divertidas y no necesariamente hay que dejar de participar en nuestras corridas. Se puede ayudar sacando fotos, marcando posiciones, escribiendo nuestro 
Reporte de la corrida, etc.
Como es bien sabido, la seguridad de los participantes es una piedra basal en los eventos de BATT Argentina y como es su costumbre, nuestro Director de la corrida brindó unos cortos anuncios generales, recordó a los miembros que nuestro querido Néstor cumplía su décimo evento como voluntario y por último, llamo a una bien merecida ronda de aplausos para todos 
los voluntarios del dia ( Pato – Andy – Rodrigo – Néstor – Seb)
Recordamos a todos nuestros miembros que en nuestro equipo de voluntarios existen varias posiciones que se encuentran libres para las próximas semanas. Por lo que se les agradecerá mucho a todos aquellos que se encuentran interesados en participar en los eventos brindando algún tipo de apoyo especial.

“TU AYUDA HACE LA DIFERENCIA”
Nuestros eventos empiezan a popularizarse y debemos recordarles a todos la importancia de contar con su Tarjeta y Código Personal para facilitar a la seguridad de 
todos los participantes y además, porque de esta forma se puede asegurar el buen funcionamiento de todos nuestros procesos de registro de tiempos para todos los participantes.
Luego del instructivo y la charla de seguridad inicial, se encontraba 
todo listo para comenzar la corrida. Los voluntarios se acomodaban y los participantes se dirigían a la zona de partida para tomar posiciones.
Néstor, uno de nuestros Fiscalizadores de Tiempos del día, proporcionaba nos últimos anuncios de seguridad y al grito de 3….2…..1….. Yaaaa!!! Los participantes arrancaban la marcha a todo vapor y se esparcían por nuestro recorrido.
Facu partía a toda velocidad, y era seguido bien de cerca por Bruno y Dickson. Asimismo, 
Marisa se lanzaba aun ritmo fuerte y era seguida por un numeroso grupo de variados participantes.
Debemos recordar a nuestros miembros que nuestros eventos son para todos y cualquiera puede participar. Nos encanta que los chicos y toda la familia participe, pero es muy importante que todo niño menor de 11 años se encuentre acompañado por un adulto responsable durante la totalidad de la prueba. 
Pato y Rodrigo estaban estratégicamente ubicados en la zona media de nuestro recorrido y supieron obtener unas brillantes tomas de nuestros participantes mientras surcaban esa zona; y mientras tanto, luego de recomponer la zona de largada, los voluntarios se dirigían a la zona de llegada y preparaban todas las indicaciones y señales necesarias.
Ya a mitad de camino, Bruno y Facu se mantenían solidos a la cabeza del malón y los seguía de cerca Walter, que retornaba a nuestras pistas luego de haber conseguido un brillante PB por debajo de los 21 minutos en su anterior corrida.
Asimismo, Gaby continuaba a paso firme y se consolidaba en la primera posición femenina en su primera corrida en los eventos de BATT Argentina. Seguida bien de cerca por el otro de nuestros participantes primerizos, Leonardo, que a paso firme continuaba su marcha.
En el día gozamos de un gran evento con fabulosas condiciones para correr, y ya desde 
lejos podíamos observar como Facu y Bruno se aproximaban a la meta todavía batallando por alcanzar primera plaza del podio. Una gran corrida de los muchachos, con Bruno cruzando la línea final en primer lugar gracias a un pequeño empujoncito de Facu. Hahaha Una fantástica corrida y muestra de actitud deportiva y compañerismo. Vamos por mas muchachos!!
También cercano a los punteros, Walter conseguía el tercer puesto en 20:47 por delante de Dickson que cruzaba la meta en 22:58. Excelente chicos. Seguimos por la buena senda!! Fuerza campeones!
La corrida continuaba y se desarrollaba de una manera grandiosa y los corredores continuaban arribando a la meta con tiempos verdaderamente competitivos. Y a continuación era el turno de Norberto, que finalizando su corrida realizando su habitual sprint final para cruzar la línea final y mejorar su marca personal por 4 segundos, logrando finalizar por debajo de los 25 minutos por primera vez. Que grande Norberto! Que campeón (PB 24:59). Felicitaciones!!
Y bien de cerca, fue el turno de Gaby y Leonardo, 
que concluían su primer evento con nosotros muy cercanos. Gaby terminaba como primera atleta femenina en 25:58 y Leo que cruzaba la meta en 26:17. Felicitaciones chicos! Gran debut y esperamos gozar con su presencia en próximos eventos.
Todos los participantes se acercaban al final y cruzaban la meta con muy buenos tiempos y mientras aguardábamos que todos los participantes terminaran su corrida, aprovechaban para distenderse en nuestra “Área de Reunión” donde se relajaban, elongaban músculos y compartían historias con otros miembros.
Y al final, se aproximaba a la meta Bettina que, con una fuerte arremetida final y una gran sonrisa en su rostro, lograba concluir su cuarto evento en “La Reserva” con todo el equipo de BATT Argentina.
Felicitaciones a todos los participantes del 58vo evento de BATT Argentina”. Miembros, participantes, amigos, corredores y voluntarios que se han desempeñado de una manera extraordinaria.

“Otra gran experiencia en “La Reserva”; nuestro equipo y los eventos cada vez se encuentran más sólidos y continuamos sumando adeptos”
Posteriormente, algunos de los participantes del evento se reunieron en un after a las afueras de “La Reserva” para distenderse y pasar un grato momento con otros miembros. Y luego, entre otras cosas nos organizamos para ir de visita a los 21K de Vicente López, donde Rodrigo y varios otros miembros estarían corriendo.
Una mañana muy particular pero sumamente entretenida con toda la familia de BATT Argentina, donde todos y cada uno de los participantes aporta su granito de arena y deja su marca. Una huella donde todos somos parte.
Les deseamos una excelente semana y los esperamos a todos el próximo sábado para compartir otra grandiosa corrida en “La Reserva”.

BATT Argentina “La Reserva #58” – Run Report (24/11/2018)
Saturday once again and it was a glorious morning in the city. A spectacular opportunity to enjoy another of our weekly runs in “La Reserva”.
From early hours, the BATT Argentina Volunteers Team got into action and started with all the preparations and the necessary safety checks to be able to develop our 58th event protecting the integrity and safety of all our participants and, in the meantime, the rest of the volunteers team and a few participants started to get together in our “Meeting Point” area.
On the day, we were welcoming Gaby and Leonardo that were visiting us for the first time so Seb, our designated volunteer, started getting to know them to be able to take in consideration their conditions and also, asses if any health and safety issue might have to be taken into consideration.
Also, after being out a few months working outside Buenos Aires, on of our old participants, Bruno, was visiting us to join the fun and get to know some of the new members of our community.
All our events are possible thanks to the valuable effort of all our members. All and each of them is a vital participant. The BATT Argentina events are made between all of us.
“BATT Argentina IS THE FACE OF ALL ITS PARTICIPANTS”
There are very enjoyable tasks and there’s no need of missing your weekly run. You can bring a hand taking photographs, checking positions or writing our weekly Run Report between other interesting processes.
Health & Safety of all our participants is a key stone in all the BATT Argentina events so, as usual, our Run Director provided some general announcements and safety tips for all the participants, inform everyone that Nestor was celebrating his 10th event as volunteer, and then called for a big round of applause for all the volunteers ( Pato – Rodrigo – Nestor – Seb ).
For the next few Saturdays, there are still a few empty volunteering roles; and it would be greatly appreciated if you can let us know if you are interested in participating in any of our next events providing any kind of support.

“YOUR HELP MAKES THE DIFFERENCE”
Our events are started to be a bit more popular and we must remember the importance of bringing your Personal BATT Argentina Card and Code, because this way, we can ensure the appropriate functioning of all our time registration processes for all the participants.
Aftter providing our short briefing and safety instructions, everything was ready to start our run. The BATT Argentina Team got into action and the volunteers started taking their positions. All the day participants started their journey to the starting area and quickly settle places on the starting line.
Nestor, one of our day Timers, provided some last-minute tips and safety advises to our participants. Everybody was ready for action. Ready….. Set …. Gooooooo!! And all our participants started their trials at full throttle.
Facu started at full speed, closely followed by Bruno and Dickson. In addition, Marisa also was very determined and imposing a strong rhythm straight away, was chased by a numerous group of varied participants.
We must emphasize to our members that all our events are for everyone and that anyone can participate in them. We loved to have children among our members so the whole family can participate, but it is imperative that any child under the age of 11 years old, is accompanied at all times during the completion of our course.
Pato and Rodrigo were strategically located in the middle part of our course, ready to take some brilliant pics of our participants while they were through that area, and in the meantime, after re-arranging the starting area, these volunteers started their journey back to base to complete the setting up of the “finishing area”.
Already in the middle of their run, Bruno and Facu kept very solid, heading up the front of the pack, closely followed by Walter, that was back in our course after having achieved a brilliant PB under 21 minutes on his previous run.
Furthermore, Gaby continued pushing firmly and was consolidating herself as the first of the ladies in her first event with the BATT Argentina Community. Followed quite closely by the other First Timer, Leonardo who was really pushing and keeping up with the chase.
On the day, we had a wonderful opportunity to enjoy another great event with marvellous conditions for running, and back at the base, we could start seeing from far away that Bruno and Facu were approaching the finish still battling for the top place of our podium. A great run Guys, with Bruno crossing the goal in first place after Facu’s little push from behind. Hahaha. What a fantastic run. True sporting and friendship spirit. Great attitude guys!
Also developing an incredible rhythm. Very close to the leaders, Walter gained the third position with an impressive 20:47 in front of Dickson that clocked 22:58. Excellent run guys! We keep on the right track! Keep pushing champs!
The run continued and was developing smoothly; with the participants finishing their 5Ks with really competitive times. And next, was Norberto’s turn, that finishing his run with a superb Sprint Finish, managed to achieve a 4 seconds PB and broke the 25 minutes mark for the first time (New PB 24:59). Big congrats mate! Well done…
And then, it was the turn of Gaby and Leonardo, both completing their first event with us in “La Reserva”. Gaby managed to finish as our first Female Athlete in 25:58 and Leo crossed the goal in 26:17. Big Congrats guys! A great debut and for sure there will be more fun and great times coming from you from you guys …
All the different participants continued reaching our base line with excellent times and, as we were waiting the rest of the participants to finish; runners, volunteers and all the event participants were chilling in our “Meeting Point” area, where they were relaxing, stretching their muscles and sharing stories with the other members.
Finally, Bettina was approaching the goal, and with a strong push and a big smile on her face, managed to conclude her 4th event in “La Reserva” with all the BATT Argentina Community.
Many congrats for all the participants of the 58th event of BATT Argentina in “La Reserva”. Members, participants, friends, runners and volunteers have been amazing and very important part of this wonderful experience.

And afterwards, some of us got together and spent some time in an “after” outside “La Reserva” to chill have a relaxing time between the different BATT Argentina members. And then, we managed to organise ourselves our visit to the “Vicente Lopez 21K” the following day.
To sum up, it was another excellent morning with the BATT Argentina family, where all and each of its participants is leaving their personal mark. Footprints from which we are all part.
