03 Oct BATT Argentina “La Reserva #50” – Reporte de la corrida (29/09/2018)
El Sábado la ciudad de Buenos Aires se despertaba bajo la lluvia y el equipo de Voluntarios de BATT Argentina conformado por Pato, Néstor & Seb se acercaban a “La Reserva” desde tempranas horas.
Apenas llegados, el equipo fue informado por los guarda-parques del recinto que en el día nuestra locación no abriría sus puertas al público por lo que rápidamente el equipo se dispuso a realizar todos los preparativos para poder desarrollar nuestra corrida semanal utilizando nuestro “Recorrido Alternativo” y de esta forma completar nuestro Evento #50.
Así es. 50 semanas consecutivas organizando y disfrutando de nuestras corridas SEMANALES, GRATIS y con REGISTRO de Tiempos para TODOS. Una gran marca y vamos por más!
Debemos recordar a nuestros miembros, que todos nuestros eventos son organizados y preparados gracias al esfuerzo y calidez de nuestro fantástico equipo de voluntarios. Existen muy variadas tareas que en su mayoría son muy sencillas; así que no hay excusas.

“TU AYUDA HACE LA DIFERENCIA”
Voluntarios y participantes se agrupaban en nuestro “Punto de Encuentro Alternativo” y nuestro Director de la corrida del día comenzaba sus anuncios generales e indicaciones de seguridad para todos los participantes.
Importante: Se recuerda a todos nuestros miembros que, nuestros eventos no se cancelan por lluvia y en los casos en que en el día las puertas de “La Reserva” se encuentren cerradas, nuestro nuevo “Punto de Encuentro Alternativo” es en las inmediaciones de las puertas del “Acceso Viamonte” de la Reserva Ecológica de la Costanera Sur (Av. Int. Hernán. M. Giralt y Mariquita Sánchez de Thompson).
La seguridad de los participantes es fundamental en los eventos de BATT Argentina y como es su costumbre, Seb proporcionó unos breves anuncios para los corredores y culminó sus mensajes con un fuerte aplauso para los voluntarios del día.
Al finalizar todos los participantes rápidamente
se dirigían hacia la línea de largada y tomaron posiciones. Néstor daba unos últimos anuncios de seguridad y al grito de 3….2…..1….. Yaaaa!!! Nuestros corredores emprendieron la marcha atravesando la intensa lluvia y chapoteando a más no poder.
Emanuel y Braian tomaron la punta rápidamente y estableciendo una clara diferencia desde el inicio, dejando bien en claro que estaban decididos en busca del podio.
En el medio del campo se encontraban Lu y Sebas, mientras Seb funcionaba como corredor de cola en el día y cuidaba la retaguardia de nuestros participantes.
Una lluvia torrencial y fuertes ráfagas de viento realmente hicieron empujar fuerte a nuestros corredores. Los chicos ya se encontraban retornando hacia la base mientras los más rezagados se acercaban al Punto de retorno de nuestro “Recorrido Alternativo”.
Para este punto, Braian había logrado establecer una clara diferencia sobre Emanuel, con Lucia siguiendo de cerca y luego Sebas y Seb completando nuestro campo.
Es muy importante recordar que todos nuestros eventos se pueden llevar a cabo gracias al valioso aporte y voluntad de nuestros miembros. Todos y cada uno de nuestros miembros es un vital participante. Los eventos de BATT Argentina los hacemos entre todos.
“BATT Argentina ES LA CARA DE TODOS SUS PARTICIPANTES”
Hay tareas muy divertidas y no necesariamente hay que dejar de participar en nuestras corridas. Se puede ayudar sacando fotos, marcando posiciones, escribiendo nuestro Reporte de la corrida, etc.
Con tu ayuda podemos generar mejores eventos y brindar un mayor valor a nuestra comunidad.
Finalmente, cruzando la meta en primer lugar fue Braian que completaba su primera corrida con el equipo de BATT Argentina en el tope del podio. Felicidades Campeón. Un maravilloso debut! Una 
brillante corrida.
Poco tiempo después, Emanuel cruzaba la meta y completando su segundo evento en el “Recorrido Alternativo” conseguía una nueva marca personal (PB) de 26:16. Casi dos minutos menos que su mejor marca anterior. Un grande! Felicitaciones!
Durante la segunda mitad de nuestra corrida Sebas había logrado acercarse a Lucía, Seb se había separado del grupo manteniéndose por detrás y con una fuerte arremetida final, Sebas lograba superar a Lucía en los últimos metros de la corrida. Un brillante final muchachos! Una corrida entretenida y muy divertida!!
Mientras aguardábamos que todos los participantes del día llegaran a la meta, los demás voluntarios y participantes se cobijaban bajo el Gazebo de BATT Argentina.

“Otra gran experiencia en “La Reserva”; nuestro equipo y los eventos cada vez se encuentran más sólidos y continuamos sumando adeptos”
Y posteriormente, todos los participantes del evento se reunieron en un after a las afueras de “La Reserva” para descansar y socializar, y asimismo organismos nuestra visita a la carrera “Circuito de las Estaciones” (Primavera) a realizarse en Puerto Madero al día siguiente.
Una mañana muy particular pero sumamente entretenida con la familia de BATT Argentina, donde todos y cada uno de los participantes aporta su granito de arena y deja su marca. Una huella donde todos somos parte.
Les deseamos una excelente semana y los esperamos a todos el próximo sábado para compartir otra grandiosa corrida en “La Reserva”.

BATT Argentina “La Reserva #50” – Run Report (29/09/2018)
On Saturday, the city of Buenos Aires woke us up under a heavy shower and the BATT Argentina Volunteers Team integrated by Pato, Nestor and Seb arrived to our venue from early hours of the morning.
As soon as they arrived, they were informed by the Rangers of our venue that the doors of “La Reserva” were going to be kept closed for the general public on the day so very quickly the whole team started all the preparations and safety checks to develop our weekly run using our “Back up course” to complete our Event #50.
Wow!! Yes. 50 events and counting!! 50 consecutive weeks organising and enjoying our Weekly, Free & Timed runs for EVERYONE! A huge milestone for us and we are going for more!
It’s very important to remember that all our events are organized and managed thanks to the warm effort of our fantastic volunteers Team. The tasks are varied and quite simple to be honest, so no excuses.

“YOUR ACTION MAKES THE DIFFERENCE”
Volunteers and participants started to get together in our “Back-up Meeting Point” area and our Run Director of the day started briefing the first timers, then provided some general announcements for everyone and also gave a few safety tips to all the day participants.
Important: We have to remind all our members that, our events are not cancelled because of rain and in cases where the gates of “La Reserva” are not opened on the day, our new “Back-up Meeting Point” is in the proximities of the “Viamonte Access Gates” (Av. Int. Hernán. M. Giralt y Mariquita Sánchez de Thompson). Photo back up course
Health & Safety of all the participants plays a key role in all BATT Argentina events and as usual, Seb gave the usual initial announcements to all of our participants, finishing with a big round of applauses for the day volunteers.
Concluding the speech, all the day participants 
started their journey to the Starting area and quickly stablish their positions. Nestor gave some brief last minute safety indications to all the participants, and after the initial shout of Ready….. Set …. Gooooooo!! Our runners started their run sparkling loads of water on their quest to reach the finish line
Emanuel & Braian quickly got into the lead and establish a clear safety margin from the start, clearly intending to chase for the podium.
Lu and Sebas were following closely, while Seb was acting as the “Tale Volunteer” on the day, taking care of all our participants back.
Very heavy rain and really strong gusts of wind were making it really hard for our contestants. With the guys already returning, the other runners were just approaching the “Turning Point” of our Back up Course.
By this stage of the run, Braian had managed to stablish some margin over Emanuel, also with Lucia not far, closely followed by Sebas and finally Seb completing our field.
It is very important to remember that all our events are possible thanks to the valuable effort of all our members. All and each of them is a vital participant. The BATT Argentina events are made between all of us.
“BATT Argentina IS THE FACE OF ALL ITS PARTICIPANTS”
There are very enjoyable tasks and there’s no need of missing your weekly run. You can bring a hand taking photographs, checking positions or writing our weekly Run Report between other interesting processes.
With your helping hand we can generate better events and we can bring more value to our community.
At the end, crossing the goal in first place, it was Braian, completing his first run with the BATT Argentina Team at the top of the podium. Congratulations Champ. A great debut and a brilliant run!!
A little after, Emanuel crossed the finish line and completed his second event in our “Back Up Course” obtaining a brand new personal best (PB) of 26:26. Reducing almost by two minutes his previous mark. Good work Mate! Well Done!
During the second part of the run, Sebas managed to reduce the distance between himself and Lucia, Seb had to separate from the runners to recover some equipment and kept himself at the end of the flock, so with an impressive sprint finish, Seb got into the chase and managed to surpass over Lucia in the final metres of the run. A brilliant finish guys! A very entertaining and enjoyable run! Big congrats to all the participants.
And while waiting for all our runners to complete their runs, all the other event participants were chilling and covering themselves under the BATT Argentina Gazzebo, while relaxing, stretching their muscles and sharing stories with the other members.

And afterwards, we all went for a coffee and spent some time together and we got organised to visit the next day Race “Circuito de las Estaciones” in Puerto
A very peculiar morning but incredibly entertaining, sharing the experience with the BATT Argentina family, where all and each of its participants is leaving their personal mark. Footprints from which we are all part.
