05 Feb BATT Argentina “La Reserva #68” – Reporte de la corrida (02/02/2019)
Arracamos Febrero a todo trapo …
Buenos Aires continúa disfrutando de un plácido verano y comenzando el fin de semana, el equipo de voluntarios se acercaba a nuestra locación para comenzar con todos los preparativos necesarios y poder llevar a cabo nuestro evento #68 en “La Reserva”.
Nuestro voluntario encargado iniciaba su vuelta de reconocimiento del terreno de nuestro recorrido para asegurar la integridad de todos nuestros participantes y luego todos en el equipo de voluntarios se agrupaban y se organizaban las tareas y posiciones a tomar en el día.
Se recuerda a todos nuestros miembros, que el equipo de BATT Argentina abre la convocatoria a todos los interesados en postularse como nuevo Coordinador de Voluntarios y al mismo tiempo, interesados en elaborar nuestros Reportes semanales, como una manera de incorporar nuevos puntos de vista de todos nuestros miembros.
“BATT ARGENTINA ES LA CARA DE TODOS SUS PARTICIPANTES”
En el día, el equipo de Voluntarios de BATT Argentina estaba compuesto por Ana María 
que, luego de unas semanas recuperándose de una lesión en su rodilla, regresaba a nuestras filas y se encargaba de cuidar la retaguardia de nuestros participantes durante la corrida. Leandro nos daba una mano como Gerente de datos, mientras que Gaby Tomaba tiempos y distribuía las posiciones, mientras que Seb ayudaba con el registro de los tiempos y también daba una mano en la captura de imágenes de los distintos participantes cuando llegaban a la meta.
Muchas gracias y felicitaciones a todos ellos. Recordamos a todos nuestros miembros que en nuestro equipo de voluntarios existen varias posiciones que se encuentran libres para las próximas semanas.

“TU AYUDA HACE LA DIFERENCIA”
Como todos sabemos, la seguridad e integridad de todos los participantes es la piedra basal en todos los eventos de BATT Argentina por lo que nuestro “Director de la corrida” en el día, luego de conversar con los nuevos miembros, supo explicar las características del recorrido y se encargó de dar unas breves indicaciones y consejos de seguridad a los participantes.
“En esta ola de calor, se recomienda a todos los participantes mantenerse correctamente hidratados para evitar cualquier tipo de malestar”
Nuestros eventos empiezan a popularizarse y debemos recordarles a todos la importancia de contar con su Tarjeta y Código Personal en todos nuestros eventos para facilitar a la seguridad de todos los participantes.
El equipo de BATT Argentina se encuentra desarrollando un nuevo sistema de registro de posiciones y tiempos para nuestras corridas semanales que se podrá implementar en las próximas semanas.
En breve ….. “SIN TARJETA PERSONAL, NO HAY RESULTADO”.
Y como es nuestra costumbre, una vez terminados los anuncios iniciales, se brindó una felicitación especial para todos los voluntarios del día.
“SIN ELLOS NUESTROS EVENTOS NO SERIAN POSIBLES”
Terminada la charla de seguridad inicial, se encontraba todo listo para comenzar la corrida y nuestros participantes se dirigían a la zona de largada y tomaban posiciones. Gaby daba unos últimos anuncios de seguridad previos
a la largada y al grito de 3….2…..1….. Yaaaa!, todos los participantes partían con una gran determinación.
Una gran partida, con varios de nuestros participantes regulares asentándose en la Punta y rápidamente 
distribuyéndose en nuestro campo. Los Voluntarios rápidamente re-acomodaban en área de la largada y se dirigían a la zona de llegada para preparar el área.
Asimismo, mientras distintos de nuestros miembros atravesaban la parte media de nuestro recorrido, Leandro supo capturar unas muy buenas imágenes que reflejan el verdadero sentimiento que generan nuestros eventos.
En el día, nuestro recorrido se encontraba en excelente estado y sumado a unas muy agradables condiciones climáticas, se desarrollaban muy buenas actuaciones por parte de nuestros participantes. Muy buenos tiempos y varios intercambios de posiciones. Pura diversión!
Y mientras tanto, continuando con su labor de Voluntaria de Cola, Ana María zigzagueaba al final del malón y disfrutaba de su corrida matinal. Una genia Ana! Sos una grande …
Ya con todo listo, el equipo de voluntarios se reorganizaba y tomaba nuevas posiciones y podían comenzar a visualizar la silueta del primero de nuestros participantes.
A toda velocidad, José Luís cruzaba la meta en primer lugar y lograba mejorar su mejor marca por dos segundos (Nuevo PB: 22:07). Por detrás de él, y a muy corta distancia, se sumaban al podio Dickson y Alberto. Felicitaciones muchachos!
Nuestros participantes continuaban completando el recorrido y mientras registraban sus códigos personales y posiciones, aprovechaban para distenderse con los demás miembros.
Entre las chicas, la primera en concluir la prueba en el día fue una de nuestras nuevas participantes, Graciela. Que, con un brillante sprint final, lograba atravesar la meta como primera de las chicas en 27:16. Que gran actuación. Felicitaciones Graciela! Vamos por mas!
La prueba se desarrollaba con normalidad, con grandes performances, varios interesantes intercambios de posiciones y gran cantidad de marcas personales.
Los distintos participantes continuaban finalizando la prueba con muy buenos tiempos y mientras aguardábamos que todos terminaran su corrida, todos aprovechaban para distenderse en nuestra “Área de Reunión” donde se relajaban, elongaban músculos y compartían historias con otros miembros
Y mientras esperábamos a Cecilia, Nora y Ana María, los distintos corredores, voluntarios y miembros compartían experiencias de una gran corrida, en donde pudimos evidenciar el gran esfuerzo de nuestros miembros, soportando las altas temperaturas del día.
Felicitaciones a todos los participantes del 68vo evento de BATT Argentina”. Miembros, participantes, amigos, corredores y voluntarios que se han desempeñado de una manera extraordinaria.

Y al finalizar el evento, varios de los participantes nos reunimos en las inmediaciones de “La Reserva” para distenderse y pasar un grato momento con otros miembros.
Una mañana muy particular pero sumamente entretenida con toda la familia de BATT Argentina, donde todos y cada uno de los participantes aporta su granito de arena y deja su marca. Una huella donde todos somos parte.
Les deseamos una excelente semana y los esperamos a todos el próximo sábado para compartir otra grandiosa corrida en “La Reserva”.

BATT Argentina “La Reserva #68” – Run Report (02/02/2019)
Starting February at full throttle …
Still enjoying a very pleasant summer in Buenos Aires and starting the weekend, the whole volunteers Team of BATT Argentina started the necessary preparations in our usual venue and set up the conditions to be able to develop the Event #68 in “La Reserva”.
Our designated volunteer quickly started his round to check the course conditions and ensure the health and safety of our participants and then the whole team of volunteers reunited to organise themselves with the different tasks of the day.
We remind our members that the BATT Argentina Team is calling for interested members that would like to become our new Volunteers Coordinator and at the same time, members that would like to write our weekly Run Reports a way of adding new insights and ideas from our members.
“BATT ARGENTINA IS THE FACE OF ALL ITS PARTICIPANTS”
The Volunteers Team of the day was composed by Ana Maria that, coming back to the fields after a few weeks off recovering her knee, on the day was acting as Tale Volunteer taking care of our participants during their runs. Leandro was giving us a hand as Data Manager, while Gaby was taking timing and distributing the position tokens to the participants. Finishing with Seb that was also helping with the times and capturing some pics of the different participants while crossing the finish line.
Big Thanks and Congratulations to all of them. We take the chance to remember all our members that for the next events, there are still a few empty volunteering roles.

“YOUR HELP MAKES THE DIFFERENCE”
As we all know, Health & Safety of all our participants are key in all the BATT Argentina events so, after a brief talk with our new participants, our Run Director explained the backup course features, provided some general announcements and safety tips for all the participants.
“In these weather conditions and types of heatwaves, we recommend to all our participants to drink plenty of water and keep hydrated and fresh to avoid feeling sick”.
Our events are getting a bit more popular and we must remember the importance of bringing your Personal BATT Argentina Card and Code to all our events to help ensuring the safety of all the participants.
BATT Argentina is developing a new time and positions registration system for our weekly runs and we are willing to launch it in the next few weeks,
So, briefly …. “WITHOUT PERSONAL CARD, THERE’S NO RESULTS”.
And to end up the initial briefing, there was a huge round of applause fot all the day volunteers.
“WITHOUT THEM, OUR EVENTS WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE”
Once concluded with the security briefing, everything was ready and our participants started moving towards the starting area to take positions. Gaby gave a few last-minute safety tips and gave the signal. 3……2……..1……. Gooooo! All the participants initiated their run with a great determination.
A wonderful start, with a few of our regular participants settling at the top and quickly dispersing themselves all around the fields. The volunteers very quickly rearranged the string area and move themselves to the finishing zone to make all the necessary preparations of the area.
In addition, while all our members were in the middle part of their runs, Leandro managed to take some brilliant pics that provide a clear image of the general feeling that our events are generating in our community.
On the day, our course was in a very good shape and also there was excellent weather conditions, so our runners were developing excellent performances. Very good times and quite a few position interchanges. Pure fun!
Meanwhile, performing as Tale Volunteer, Ana Maria was performing zig-zags at the end of the field of participants, still enjoying her morning run. Genius Ana Maria. You are a Star!
Everything was ready in the base, all the volunteers reorganised and took their new roles and started to get a glimpse of the first one of our participants.
Approaching the goal at full speed, Jose Luis crossed the finishing line first and managed to improve his best personal time by two seconds (New PB: 22:07). Close to him, Dickson and Alberto also step up in our podium. Big congrats guys! Very well done
Our participants kept completing their runs and while registering their codes and positions, they took the chance to chill and relax with all the other members.
And between the ladies, the first one to conclude her run was one of the days first timers, Graciela. That, concluding her run with a brilliant sprint finished, managed to cross the goal as the first one of the girs in 27:16. Great performance Grace! And big Congrats!
The run was developing smoothly, with some great performances, a few interesting takeovers and loads of PBs.
The different participants continued reaching our base line with excellent times and, as we were waiting the rest of the participants to finish; runners, volunteers and all the event participants were chilling in our “Meeting Point” area, where they were relaxing, stretching their muscles and sharing stories with the other members.
And while waiting for Cecy, Nora y Ana Maria, the rest of the participant, the runners, volunteers and different members were sharing their stories and experiences over a great run, where we could see an extra special effort to handle the intense heat of the day.
Many congrats for all the participants of the 68th event of BATT Argentina in “La Reserva”. Members, participants, friends, runners and volunteers have been amazing and very important part of this wonderful experience.

And to conclude the day, some of us got together and spent some time in an “after” outside “La Reserva” to chill have a relaxing time between the different BATT Argentina members.
To sum up, it was another excellent morning with the BATT Argentina family, where all and each of its participants is leaving their personal mark. Footprints from which we are all part.
