Nuevo año, nuevas caras y toneladas de diversión …
Llegaba el sábado, y Buenos Aires se despertaba con un gran cielo despejado y unas temperaturas casi perfectas para el desarrollo de nuestros eventos semanales de 5K en “La Reserva”.
Nuestros eventos empiezan a popularizarse y 
debemos recordarles a todos la importancia de contar con su Tarjeta y Código Personal para facilitar a la seguridad de todos los participantes y además, porque de esta forma se puede agilizar el funcionamiento de todos nuestros procesos de registro de tiempos para todos los participantes.
Todos nuestros eventos se pueden llevar a cabo gracias al valioso aporte y voluntad de nuestros miembros. Todos y cada uno de ellos es un vital participante. Los eventos de BATT Argentina los hacemos entre todos.
“BATT ARGENTINA ES LA CARA DE TODOS SUS PARTICIPANTES”
Hay tareas muy divertidas y no necesariamente hay que dejar de participar en nuestras corridas. Se puede ayudar sacando fotos, marcando posiciones, escribiendo nuestro Reporte de la corrida, etc.
Algunos de los voluntarios comenzaban con los preparativos y chequeos de seguridad necesarios para poder llevar a cabo nuestro evento #64 intentando conservar y proteger al máximo la integridad de todos nuestros participantes, y siguiendo la rutina habitual, desde tempranas horas, el resto equipo de voluntarios de BATT Argentina y diversos participantes del día se agrupaban en nuestro “Punto de Encuentro”.
Nuestro voluntario encargado conversaba y brindaba algunos consejos de seguridad a aquellos miembros que nos visitaban por primera vez; para así conocerlos y poder tomar todos los recaudos necesarios para mantener su seguridad.
La seguridad e integridad de todos los participantes es la piedra basal en todos los eventos de BATT Argentina por lo que Seb (Director de la corrida en el día), luego de conversar con los nuevos miembros, se encargó de dar unas breves indicaciones y consejos de seguridad a los participantes. En el día, Rodri se encontraba completando su décima participación en nuestros eventos y recibió un fuerte aplauso de parte de todos los miembros reunidos.
Y luego tuvimos otra gran ovación para todos los voluntarios del día. Muchas gracias a Sebas, Rodrigo, Ema y Seb.
“SIN ELLOS NUESTROS EVENTOS NO SERIAN POSIBLES”
Luego de la charla de seguridad inicial, se 
encontraba todo listo para comenzar la corrida y nuestra numerosa manada de participantes se dirigían a la zona de largada y tomaban posiciones.
Ema, uno de nuestros Fiscalizadores de Tiempos, proporcionaba unos últimos anuncios de seguridad.
3….2…..1….. Yaaaa!!! y Nuestros corredores emprendieron la marcha y rápidamente se esparcían por nuestro recorrido intentando finalizar la prueba de la manera más rápida.
Comenzaba la corrida y los “sospechosos de siempre” rápidamente se acomodaban en la punta, con varios de los nuevos participantes inmiscuyéndose entre las primeras posiciones.
Asimismo, unos pocos metros por detrás los seguían bien 
de cerca un numeroso grupo de corredoras que entre intensos esfuerzos, bromas y risas gozaban enormemente de la experiencia mientras surcaban los distintos senderos de “La Reserva”.
Un gran malón de participantes acompañados por Sebas que, participando por primera vez junto a su hermana Romina, se ubicaba al final de todos los participantes como Voluntario de Cola para cuidar de la salud e integridad de 
nuestros participantes.
Ema y Seb re-acomodaban la largada y se dirigían a la base para preparar la zona de llegada y mientras tanto, Rodrigo estaba estratégicamente ubicado en la parte media del recorrido y logró obtener unas brillantes placas de nuestros corredores mientras surcaban esa zona.
Recordamos a todos nuestros miembros que en nuestro equipo de voluntarios existen varias posiciones que se encuentran libres para las próximas semanas. Por lo que se les agradecerá mucho a todos aquellos que se encuentran interesados en participar en los eventos brindando algún tipo de apoyo especial
“TU AYUDA HACE LA DIFERENCIA”
La prueba se desarrollaba con normalidad y desde la distancia, comenzábamos a vislumbrar la silueta de uno de nuestros nuevos participantes; José Luís acercándose a la meta a todo vapor y concluyendo su primera corrida con nosotros con un brillante tiempo de 22:09. Una gran corrida. Felicitaciones!!
Bien de cerca y compartiendo la segunda posición, Leandro y Ricardo finalizaban la prueba en 23:12. Gran corrida chicos y felicitaciones a Richard por obtener un gran PB, reduciendo su marca personal por 37 segundos.
Y por detrás, obteniendo la cuarta posición y también mejorando su mejor tiempo, cruzaba la meta Nico en 25:52 (6 segundos menos que su anterior PB). Gran performance champ!
Numerosos participantes cruzaban nuestra línea final, algunos de los nuevos mezclados con otros regulares, y era el tiempo de Isabel que, en su segundo evento con nosotros, volvía a finalizar la prueba como primera de las chicas. Una grande. Vamos por más Isa!
Los distintos participantes continuaban finalizando la prueba con muy buenos tiempos y mientras aguardábamos que todos terminaran su corrida, aprovechaban para distenderse en nuestra “Área de Reunión” donde se relajaban, elongaban músculos y compartían historias con otros miembros.
Las chicas, Mirta y Sabri, también conseguían brillantes marcas en su segunda participación en nuestros eventos con una reducción de 37 segundos para Mirta y más de 3 minutos de mejoría para Sabrina. Felicitaciones chicas. Gran esfuerzo.
Y al final de todo, concluían la prueba Romina y 
Sebas que, con grandes sonrisas en sus caras, se unían con el resto de los participantes y miembros del equipo de BATT Argentina.
Felicitaciones a todos los participantes del 64vo evento de BATT Argentina”. Miembros, participantes, amigos, corredores y voluntarios que se han desempeñado de una manera extraordinaria.

Nuevos PBs: Mirta 33:26 (-0:37s), Sabrina 45:40 (-3:03), Ricardo 23:12 (0:37s) & Nico 25:52 (-0:06s).
“Otra gran experiencia en “La Reserva”; nuestro equipo y los eventos cada vez se encuentran más sólidos y continuamos sumando adeptos”
Y al finalizar el evento, varios de los participantes nos reunimos en las inmediaciones de “La Reserva” para distenderse y pasar un grato momento con otros miembros. Y luego, entre otras cosas nos organizamos para ir de visita a “La Carrera de Lo Reyes” que se celebró el domingo en Parque Sarmiento.
Una mañana muy particular pero sumamente entretenida con toda la familia de BATT Argentina, donde todos y cada uno de los participantes aporta su granito de arena y deja su marca. Una huella donde todos somos parte.
Les deseamos una excelente semana y los esperamos a todos el próximo sábado para compartir otra grandiosa corrida en “La Reserva”.

Welcoming the new year, new faces and tons of fun …
Saturday arrived and Buenos Aires was waking up with clear blue skies and almost perfect weather conditions for the development of our weekly, free & timed 5K runs in “La Reserva”.
Our events are started to be a bit more popular and we must remember the importance of bringing your Personal BATT Argentina Card and Code, because this way, we can ensure the appropriate functioning of all our time registration processes for all the participants.
All our events are possible thanks to the valuable effort of all our members. All and each of them is a vital participant. The BATT Argentina events are made between all of us.
“BATT ARGENTINA IS THE FACE OF ALL ITS PARTICIPANTS”
There are very enjoyable tasks and there’s no need of missing your weekly run. You can bring a hand taking photographs, checking positions or writing our weekly Run Report between other interesting processes.
A few of our volunteers were starting getting started with the preparations and all the necessary safety checks to be able to develop our 64th event in the safest possible way. So, following our usual routine, from early hours, the rest of the BATT Argentina volunteers team, members and a few participants started to get together in our “Meeting Point” area.
Our designated volunteer started briefing the first timers, to start getting to know them and asses if there were any health and safety issue might have to be taken into consideration.
Health & Safety of all our participants is key in all the BATT Argentina events so, as usual, our Run Director provided some general announcements and safety tips for all the participants. On the day, Rodri was completing his 10th event with us and received a big round of applause from all the rest of the members participating on the day.
And to conclude our starting briefing, there was a standing ovation for the volunteers of the day. Thank you very much Sebas, Ema, Rodrigo & Seb.
“WITHOUT THEM, OUR EVENTS WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE”
After concluding with the security briefing, everything was ready and our participants started moving towards the Starting area to take positions.
Everyone was ready in the start line and Ema, one of the day Timers, provided a few last-minute safety tips to our participants. Everybody was ready for action.
Ready….. Set …. Gooooooo!! And all our participants started spreading quickly through the different paths from “La Reserva”.
Starting the run, the “usual suspects” quickly settled on the lead, with quite a few of our new members trying to squeeze at the front.
On the other hand, just a few metres behind, there was a numerous group of runners following closely, and between some great efforts, laughs and jokes, they were enjoying greatly their experience though “La Reserva”.
A great number of members participating on the day, all followed by Sebas that was running with his sister Romina for the first time, acting as Tale volunteer and taking care of all our participants back.
Ema and Seb re-arranged the starting area and were returning to the base camp to prepare the Finishing area and meanwhile, Rodrigo, that was strategically located in the middle part of our course, managed to obtain some brilliant pics of our runners while they were crossing the area.
We take the chance to remember all our members that for the next events, there are still a few empty volunteering roles; and it would be greatly appreciated if you can let us know if you are interested in participating in any of our next events providing any kind of support.
“YOUR HELP MAKES THE DIFFERENCE”
What a marvellous morning for our event, and we started to see the silhouette of one of our new runners. It was José Luís approaching the finish line at full speed, managing to conclude his run in 22:09. What a good performance! Big congrats!
A short time afterwards, and sharing the second position, Leandro and Ricardo finished their runs together in 23:12. A great run guys and congratulations to Richard for obtaining a great PB, reducing his best mark by 37 seconds.
Managing the 4th position, and also improving his best time in our course, Nico crossed the goal in 25:52 (6 seconds faster that on his previous best time). A great performance Champ!
The different participants kept finishing their runs, with some of the regular and some of the new participants, and was the time of Isabel that, on her second visit to our events, managed to finish the run once again as first of the ladies. What a Star. Great stuff Isa!
All the different participants continued reaching our base line with excellent times and, as we were waiting the rest of the participants to finish; runners, volunteers and all the event participants were chilling in our “Meeting Point” area, where they were relaxing, stretching their muscles and sharing stories with the other members.
Between the girls, Mirta and Sabri also managed to get brilliant times on their second participation in our events; with a 37 sec improvement for Mirta and more than 3 min for Sabrina. Big congrats girls. Game on!
And to finish the event, Romina and Sebas concluded their event and, and with big smiles on their faces, they joint the rest of the participants and members of the BATT Argentina Team.
Many congrats for all the participants of the 64th event of BATT Argentina in “La Reserva”. Members, participants, friends, runners and volunteers have been amazing and very important part of this wonderful experience.

And to conclude the day, some of us got together and spent some time in an “after” outside “La Reserva” to chill have a relaxing time between the different BATT Argentina members. And then, we managed to organize ourselves our visit to the “Kings Run” on the following day.
To sum up, it was another excellent morning with the BATT Argentina family, where all and each of its participants is leaving their personal mark. Footprints from which we are all part.
