13 Nov BATT Argentina “La Reserva #56” – Reporte de la corrida (10/11/2018)
Llegamos al Sábado y la ciudad de Buenos Aires nos despertaba con condiciones climáticas tormentosas.
Fuertes ráfagas de viento e inconsistentes chaparrones nos determinaban a utilizar nuestro “Recorrido Alternativo” porque que en el día, las puertas de “La Reserva” se encontraban cerradas al público general.
Importante: Se recuerda a todos nuestros miembros que, nuestros eventos no se cancelan por lluvia y en los casos en que en el día las puertas de “La Reserva” se encuentren cerradas, nuestro nuevo “Punto de Encuentro Alternativo” es en las inmediaciones de las puertas del “Acceso Viamonte” de la Reserva Ecológica de la Costanera Sur (Av. Int. Hernán. M. Giralt y Mariquita Sánchez de Thompson).

“TU AYUDA HACE LA DIFERENCIA”
Desde tempranas horas, voluntarios y participantes de BATT Argentina se reunían en las inmediaciones del “Acceso Viamonte” a la Reserva Ecológica de Costanera Sur para realizar todos los preparativos y chequeos de 
seguridad necesarios para poder llevar a cabo nuestro evento #56 intentando conservar y proteger al máximo la seguridad de todos nuestros participantes.
Como nota especial, Felicitaciones a Guille por completar su evento 25 con BATT Argentina, como así también para Facu por alcanzar los primeras 15 participaciones.
La seguridad de los participantes es fundamental en los eventos de BATT Argentina y como es su costumbre, luego de evaluar las condiciones del recorrido, nuestro Director de la Corrida del día proporcionó unos breves anuncios e indicaciones para para todos los participantes y culminó sus mensajes con un fuerte aplauso para los voluntarios del día.
“BATT ARGENTINA ES LA CARA DE TODOS SUS PARTICIPANTES”
Todo listo para comenzar la corrida. Los voluntarios se acomodaban y los participantes se dirigían a la zona de partida y tomaban posiciones.
Rápidamente, 
y aprovechando un breve corte en nuestra lluvia matinal, Seb proporcionaba unos últimos anuncios de seguridad y al grito de 3….2…..1….. Yaaaa!!! Nuestros corredores emprendieron la marcha para completar nuestro “Recorrido Alternativo”.
Facu, partía a todo vapor y desde los primeros metros lograba establecer una clara diferencia demostrando que estaba muy decidido por alcanzar una nueva marca personal.
Asimismo, Andy e Ingrid se acomodaban por detrás y seguían bien de cerca a nuestro líder; mientras que el resto de nuestros participantes entraban en ritmo y se acomodaban en el campo.
Debemos recordar a nuestros miembros que nuestros eventos son para todos y cualquiera puede participar. Nos encanta que los chicos y toda la familia participe, pero es muy importante que todo niño menor de 11 años se encuentre acompañado por un adulto responsable durante la totalidad de la prueba.
Luego de conseguir algunas buenas tomas de nuestros participantes en la parte inicial del recorrido, los voluntarios del día se dirigían a la zona de llegada y preparaban todas las indicaciones y señales necesarias.
Pasados unos 10 minutos, Facu se mantenía en la Punta, posición que conservaría hasta el final. Una brillante performance donde pudo mantener un ritmo muy homogéneo durante la totalidad de la prueba.
En segunda posición, Andy se acercaba a la zona media de nuestro recorrido, y muy cerca de nuestro punto de retorno, ya podía sentir a Norberto que se aproximaba a gran velocidad y lograba usurparle un escalón de nuestro podio.
Asimismo, la primera de las chicas en nuestro campo era Ingrid que, manteniendo un ritmo muy constante durante el curso de la corrida, lentamente se aproximaba a la punta y buscaba desplazar a Andy y no permitir la formación de un nuevo podio totalmente masculino. Que buena corrida. Más que entretenida!
Mientras tanto, luego de un comienzo lento en los primeros kilómetros de la prueba, Guille retomaba fuerzas en la segunda mitad de la prueba y comenzaba a disminuir la considerable brecha que existía con respecto a los otros participantes.
Un gran evento y en el día, el primer participante 
en concluir el recorrido fue Facu; que lograba el tope de nuestro podio con grandioso tiempo de 20:12, que no permitía superar su marca personal, pero que estando cada vez más cerca, solo nos permite inferir que el PB esta a la vuelta de la esquina. Felicitaciones Facu!! Vamos por más campeón. Sigamos por el buen camino!
Y nuevamente continuando con su racha de buenos resultados, Norberto conseguía cruzar la meta en segunda posición con un tiempo muy cercano a su PB, seguido muy de cerca por Ingrid que, tras una fuerte arremetida final, consiguió sobrepasar a Andy en los 
últimos metros de la prueba y de esta forma lograba subirse a nuestro podio por primera vez con un tiempazo de 26:53. Primera de las chicas en cruzar la meta con un brillante PB, logrando bajar los 27 minutos por primera vez y continuando con la excelente racha de resultados. Una grande Ingrid! Gran valor de la comunidad de BATT Argentina.
Bien cercano a ella, alcanzaba la meta Andy y mientras aguardábamos que todos los participantes del día llegaran a la meta, los demás participantes aprovechaban para distenderse bajo la lluvia donde se relajaban, elongaban músculos y compartían historias con otros miembros.
Y al final, con una fuerte arremetida en la segunda mitad la corrida, Guille lograba alcanzar y superar a Taiana, para finalizar la prueba en 29:47 y 29:51 respectivamente. Nuevos PBs para ambos. Felicitaciones chicos. Muy buena performance y muy divertida experiencia.

“Otra gran experiencia en “La Reserva”; nuestro equipo y los eventos cada vez se encuentran más sólidos y continuamos sumando adeptos”
Posteriormente, algunos de los participantes del evento se reunieron en un after a las afueras de “La Reserva” para descansar y socializar, y entre otras cosas organizar una visita a los 10K de Del Viso que se celebraba el Domingo
Una mañana muy particular pero sumamente entretenida con toda la familia de BATT Argentina, donde todos y cada uno de los participantes aporta su granito de arena y deja su marca. Una huella donde todos somos parte.

BATT Argentina “La Reserva #56” – Run Report (10/11/2018)
Saturday once again, and Buenos Aires woke up with some stormy weather conditions.
The strong gusts of wind and very inconsistent showers determined that BATT Argentina Team have to use the Back-Up course on the day because the gates of “La Reserva” weren’t going to open for the general public.
Important: We have to remind all our members that, our events are not cancelled because of rain and in cases where the gates of “La Reserva” are not opened on the day, our new “Back-up Meeting Point” is in the proximities of the “Viamonte Access Gates” (Av. Int. Hernán. M. Giralt y Mariquita Sánchez de Thompson).

“YOUR ACTION MAKES THE DIFFERENCE”
From early hours of the morning; volunteers, participants and members of the BATT Argentina community were getting together in the proximities of the “Acceso Viamonte” gates of La Reserva Ecolgica de Costanera Sur to start with the preliminary preparations and necessary safety checks to be able to carry on with our 56th event willing to preserve the safety of all its participants.
On the day, Guille was participating in his 25th event with BATT Argentina, and also Facu was completing his 15th one.
Health & Safety of all the members & participants plays a key role in all BATT Argentina events and as usual, after evaluating the Back-Up course conditions, our day Run Director gave some initial announcements & indications to all of our participants, finishing with a big round of applauses for the day volunteers.
“BATT ARGENTINA IS THE FACE OF ALL ITS PARTICIPANTS”
Everyone was ready for the run. The volunteers were taking their positions and the participants started their journey to the start line zone and quickly settle their positions.
So quickly, and taking advantage of a short pause of rain, Seb provided some last safety announcements to all after the usual Ready…. Set ….. Goooo!!! All our runners started their quest in a quite fast manner.
Facu started at a very fast pace and after just a few metres managed to establish a clear margin over the rest of the participants, showing us that he was really focused in achieving a new PB.
Running very closely, Andy and Ingrid were accommodating their pace intending not to lose sight of our leader; while back on the field, all the rest of the day participants kept accommodating themselves through the field.
We must emphasize to our members that all our events are for everyone and that anyone can participate in them. We loved to have children among our members so the whole family can participate, but it is imperative that any child under the age of 11 years old, is accompanied at all times during the completion of our course.
After achieving some brilliant pics of our runners in the initial section of the course, our day volunteers went to set up the finishing area and waited anxiously for the first participant to complete the run.
After around 10 minutes, Facu was still on the lead, a position that he would manage to keep till the end. A brilliant performance, managing a solid and very consistent rhythm over the whole run.
In second positions, Andy was running through the middle section of our course, and close to the returning point of the course, he could started to feel that Norberto was getting close quickly and manged to steel a step on our podium.
Continuing with the development of the run, Ingrid was the first of the girls on our field and, maintaining a solid pace from the start, was slowly getting close to the front pack, eager to overtake Andy and not allowing the boys to keep a fully masculine podium once again. What a fantastic run. Really good fun guys! Really entertaining….
In the meantime, after a quite slow start over the first couple of kilometres, Guille changed his air on the second half of his run and started to reduce the considerable gap against the other fellow participants.
A great event and on the day, the first participant concluding the course was Facu; that gain the highest place of our podium with a great time of 20:12. Not a personal best time, but getting closer and closer, proving that new PBs are just around the corner. Big congrats Facu! You are on the right track mate!
And continuing with his series of great results and performances, Norberto managed to gain the second step of our podium with an amazing time very close to his best one, closely followed by Ingrid, that after an amazing sprint in the last kilometre, managed to overtake Andy in the final metres of the run, gaining the last step of the podium for the first time clocking a time of 26:53. Well done Ingrid! First of the ladies on the day with a brilliant PB, first time under the 27 minute line and continuing with a superb strike of wonderful results. What a Star! A huge member of the BATT Argentina community.
Very close to her, Andy crossed the goal and while waiting for all our runners to complete their runs, all the other event participants were chilling, stretching their muscles and sharing stories with the other members.
And finally, developing and maintaining a wonderful pace in the second part of his run, Guille managed to surpass Taiana in the final stage of our course, finishing in 29:47 and 29:51 respectively. New PBs for both. Big congrats guys. A great and very enjoyable performance.

“Another great experience in” La Reserva “; our team and the events are becoming more solid and we continue to add participants”
And afterwards, some of us got together and spent some time in an “after” outside “La Reserva” to chill a bit and, between other things, organise ourselves our visit to the Del Viso 10K that was celebrated on Sunday.
To sum up, it was another excellent morning with the BATT Argentina family, where all and each of its participants is leaving their personal mark. Footprints from which we are all part.
