26 Sep BATT Argentina “La Reserva #49” – Reporte de la corrida (22/09/2018)
Llegó el sábado y el equipo de Voluntarios de BATT Argentina llegaba a “La Reserva” 
para realizar todos los preparativos del evento #49.
Una gloriosa mañana y ya desde horas tempranas los voluntarios y participantes del día se agrupaban en nuestro “Punto de Encuentro” y nuestro Director de la corrida del día 
comenzaba su corta charla con los miembros que atedian por primera vez y luego realizaba sus anuncios generales e indicaciones de seguridad para todos los participantes.
Nuestros eventos empiezan a popularizarse y debemos recordarles a todos nuestros miembros, la importancia de contar con su Tarjeta y Código Personal en todos nuestros eventos porque de esta forma podemos asegurar el buen funcionamiento de todos nuestros procesos de registro de tiempos para todos los 
participantes.
Al finalizar con estos cortos anuncios, todos realizaron una gran ronda de aplausos para todos los voluntarios del día (Andy – Walter – Seb) y Seb realizó un 
especial llamado a todos aquellos que se encuentran interesados en participar en los eventos brindando algún tipo de apoyo especial.
Todos los participantes 
comenzaban su trayecto hacia la línea de largada y tomaban posiciones. Seb brindaba unas ultimas indicaciones de seguridad para los participantes, y al grito de 3….2…..1….. Yaaaa!!! Todos nuestros corredores emprendían la marcha a todo vapor.
Dickson, Ash y Walter rápidamente se acomodaron en la punta del pelotón y poco a poco el resto de los participantes acomodaban sus posiciones en el campo.
Un poco de calor, acompañando unas extraordinarias condiciones para correr, aseguraban que, en el día, podríamos disfrutar muy buenas actuaciones durante el desarrollo de nuestra corrida.
Andy se encargaba de fotografiar a nuestros participantes en la zona media de la corrida 
y asimismo, supo deleitarnos con unas excelentes placas de la llegada de nuestros corredores.
Cuatro nuevos participantes sumándose a dos nuevos miembros en nuestro equipo de Voluntarios. Rodrigo retornaba a participar de nuestras filas, pero lamentablemente, su corrida fue invalida ya que no pudo completar la totalidad de nuestro recorrido.
Los corredores ya surcaban la mitad de la vuelta y en nuestra zona de encuentro, el equipo preparaba la zona de llegada y ansiosamente aguardaba el arribo de nuestros corredores de punta.
Andy estaba cargo como Gerente de Datos, Seb fiscalizaba los tiempos y Walter se encargaría de marcar las posiciones luego de terminar su corrida.
Es muy importante recordar que todos nuestros eventos se pueden llevar a cabo gracias al valioso aporte y voluntad de nuestros miembros. Todos y cada uno de nuestros miembros es un vital participante. Los eventos de BATT Argentina los hacemos entre todos.

Existen varias posiciones por completar para los próximos sábados y realmente agradeceríamos tu apoyo, por lo que si te encuentras interesado en brindar tu ayuda, por favor mira nuestra grilla de voluntarios y déjanos saber qué posición deseas cubrir a battvolunteers@gmail.com.
Hay tareas muy divertidas y no necesariamente hay que dejar de participar en nuestras corridas. Se puede ayudar sacando fotos, marcando posiciones, escribiendo nuestro Reporte de la corrida, etc.
Con tu ayuda podemos generar mejores eventos y brindar un mayor valor a toda nuestra comunidad.
“TU AYUDA HACE LA DIFERENCIA”
Cruzando la meta en primer lugar fue Walter que, 
con su acostumbrada arremetida final, nuevamente volvía a igualar su marca personal (PB) de 21:05. Un tiempazo campeón. Una brillante corrida.
Poco tiempo después, Dickson alcanzaba la meta y con un tiempo final que demostraba su continua mejora. Un grande! Felicitaciones!
Y realizando una extraordinaria corrida, reduciendo su PB en más de 1 minuto, Ash conseguía el tercer puesto con un tiempazo de 26:44 y finalizaba la corrida como primera de las chicas.
Muy cerca de ella, 
completaba la competencia Su (27:12), luego Elvio que en su primer evento con el equipo de BATT Argentina en “La Reserva”, cruzaba la meta en 27:31 y los seguía Lu que con una excelente actuación lograba finalizar la prueba con una nueva marca personal (PB) de 27:45.
Felicitaciones a las chicas por sus excelentes PBs (mejoras de 1:03 y 0:23s respectivamente) y asimismo para Elvio que completaba su primera participación en nuestros eventos con una excelente actuación. Vamos por mas chicos!
Como es la costumbre en nuestros eventos, mientras aguardábamos que todos los 
participantes del día llegaran a la meta, los demás participantes aprovechaban para distenderse en nuestra “Área de Reunión” donde se relajaban, elongaban músculos y compartían historias con otros miembros.
Finalmente, completando su primer evento con nosotros, arribaba a la meta Stella Maris que cruzaba la línea final en 40:14 y nos comentaba el desarrollo de su experiencia. Una genia Stella Maris!

Al finalizar el evento, el feliz ganador de la remera fue nuestro nuevo participante Pablo que nos comentaba cuanto anhelaba el salir sorteado ganador. Un Grande!! Esperamos que la disfrutes.
Luego, la mayor parte del grupo se reunieron en un after a las afueras de “La Reserva” para descansar y socializar, y asimismo organizamos nuestra visita a La Maraton de Buenos Aires el día siguiente, donde varios de nuestros miembros intentarían completar los 42K del circuito.
En resumen, fue una excelente mañana con la familia de BATT Argentina, donde todos y cada uno de los participantes aporta su granito de arena y deja su marca. Una huella donde todos somos parte.
Les deseamos una excelente semana y los esperamos a todos el próximo sábado para compartir otra grandiosa corrida en “La Reserva”.

BATT Argentina “La Reserva #49” – Run Report (22/09/2018)
It was Saturday finally and the BATT Argentina Volunteers Team arrive to our venue to make all the necessary safety checks and preparations to get ready for our Event #49 in “La Reserva”.
A glorious morning and from early hours volunteers, participants and members started to get together in our “Metting Point” area and our Run Director of the day started briefing the first timers, then provided some general announcements for everyone and also gave a few safety tips to all the day participants.
Luckily, our events are started to be a bit more popular and we must remember the importance of bringing your Personal BATT Argentina Card and Code, because this way, we can ensure the appropriate functioning of all our time registration processes for all the participants.
Concluding the speech, all together made a big round of applause for all the day volunteers (Andy – Walter – Seb) and Seb made a special inquire to everyone interested in participating in our events bringing any kind of helping hand.
All the day participants started their journey to the Starting area and quickly establish their positions. Our day Timer provided some brief last minute safety indications to all the participants, and after the initial shout of Ready….. Set …. Gooooooo!! Our bunch of intrepid runners started their quest through “La Reserva” paths.
Dickson, Ash & Walter quickly got into the lead and bit by bit, all the rest of the participants were finding their positions in the field.
Some hot weather on the day, that accompanied with extraordinary running conditions, were ensuring a great event with some wonderful performances during the run.
Andy was taking some pics in the first kilometre zone and also, managed to delight us with some brilliant photographs of our runners when finishing their runs.
On the day we had 4 new runners plus 2 other members joining the volunteers Team. Rodrigo was back in our field, but unluckily his run was invalid because he didn’t manage too complete the totality of our course.
The participants were getting close to the middle of their rounds and back at base, the volunteers team was setting up the finishing area and was anxiously awaiting for the first runners to arrive.
Andy was in charge as Data Manager, Seb was checking the times and Walter was going to take care of the positions markings after completing his run.
It is very important to remember that all our events are possible thanks to the valuable effort of all our members. All and each of them is a vital participant. The BATT Argentina events are made between all of us.

There are very enjoyable tasks and there’s no need of missing your weekly run. You can bring a hand taking photographs, checking positions or writing our weekly Run Report between other interesting tasks
With your helping hand we can generate better events and we can bring more value to our community.
“YOUR HELP MAKES THE DIFFERENCE”
Crossing the finish line in first place was Walter that, ending his run with an impressive sprint finish as he is used to, managed once again to equal his PB of 21:05. Excellent time Buddy! What a brilliant run….
A little afterwards, it was Dickson turn to cross the goal with a brilliant time that can only proves that his recovery is going very well indeed. Congrats mate!
And finishing a superb run, managing to reduce her PB by more than a minute, it was Ash. Getting the third place with a brilliant time of 26:44, finishing her run as the first of the ladies.
Very close to her, Su completed her run in 27:12, then Elvio completed his first event with us in “La Reserva” crossing the finish line in 27:31, closely followed by Lu that, with a brilliant performance, managed to finish her run with a new PB of 27:45.
Congrats to the girls for their excellent PBs (Improvements of 1:03 and 23s respectively) and also to Elvio for completing his first participation in our events with such a great performance. Keep it up guys!
As we do in all our events, while waiting for all our runners to complete their runs; runners, volunteers and all the event participants were chilling in our “Meeting Point” area, where they were relaxing, stretching their muscles and sharing stories with the other members.
And finally, completing her first run with us in “La Reserva”, Stella Maris arrived. Completing her run with a time of 40:14 and expressing the joy of her experience to our volunteers’ team. What a star Stella Maris!

Finishing the event, our raffle lucky winner was the First Timer Pablo that commented how surprised and grateful he was about winning one of our “BATT Argentina” T-Shirts i his first visit. Cheers mate! We hope you enjoy it!
And afterwards, most part of the group got together and spent some time an “after” outside “La Reserva” and we organised our visit to the Buenos Aires Marathon the following day, where a few of our members would be willing to complete the 26.2 miles of the circuit.
To sum up, it was another excellent morning with the BATT Argentina family, where all and each of its participants is leaving their personal mark. Footprints from which we are all part.
