06 Sep BATT Argentina “La Reserva #46” – Reporte de la corrida (01/09/2018)
Una muy linda mañana del sábado, muy ventosa, pero con muy lindas condiciones para correr y a tempranas horas, los voluntarios de BATT Argentina llegaron a “La Reserva” para comenzar con los preparativos del evento.
Seb partía para corroborar que las condiciones del terreno en el recorrido eran propicias y seguras para el desarrollo de la corrida y mientras tanto, nuestros voluntarios comenzaban a recibir a los otros participantes en nuestro “Punto de Encuentro”.
En el día contamos con varias caras nuevas, algunos de nuestros regulares participantes y también tuvimos miembros que nos visitaban luego de algunas semanas ausentes en nuestros eventos.
Dos nuevos miembros se sumaban a nuestro Equipo de
Voluntarios, con Sabrina y Darío dándonos una gran ayuda en el día y disfrutando de la compañía. Muchas gracias chicos. Un gusto tenerlos en el equipo.
Seb fue el Director de la corrida en el día y luego de brindar sus anuncios generales y dar algunos tips de seguridad a todos los participantes; todos realizaron una gran ronda de aplausos para todos los voluntarios del día (Sabrina – Darío – Seb)
Es muy importante recordar que todos nuestros eventos se pueden llevar a cabo gracias al valioso aporte y voluntad de nuestros miembros. Todos y cada uno de ellos es un vital participante. Los eventos de BATT Argentina los hacemos entre todos.
“BATT Argentina ES LA CARA DE TODOS SUS PARTICIPANTES”
Los participantes se dirigían a la meta y tomaban posiciones. El fiscalizador de Tiempos daba unos últimos anuncios de seguridad y al grito de 3…. 2…..1…. Yaaaaaa, los intrépidos partían a toda prisa y comenzaban a dispersarse por los pasajes de “La Reserva”
Darío y Walter partían a toda velocidad y rápidamente se acomodaban en la Punta.
Los seguían Néstor, uno de nuestros más rápidos corredores que en el día corría junto a su compañera Noe que realizaba su primera corrida con nosotros y un poco más retrasados, en su retorno, Norberto
y Tai que también corrían juntos y volvían a disfruta de nuestro campo luego de unas semanas de descanso.
En el dia gozamos de una una corrida muy peleada con varios cambios de posiciones durante su desarrollo; y mientras tanto en la base, nuestro equipo de voluntarios organizaba la zona de llegada y ansiosamente aguardaba la llegada de los primeros participantes.
Fue así que ya cercanos a los 19:00min desde la llegada se podía esbozar la silueta del primero de nuestros participantes, Darío. Que completaba su primer evento con nosotros en primer lugar con un tiempo brillante de 20:03.
En segundo lugar, completando un brutal “Sprint” final, como es su costumbre, Walter alcanzaba la meta logrando superar su marca anterior por 13 segundos y obtenía un nuevo PB de 21:31.
Néstor, que durante el transcurso de la prueba se había separado de Noe, conseguía el tercer escalón del podio en el día y detrás de él, una gran catarata de participantes cruzaba la meta.
Desde lejos, los voluntarios podían evidenciar la
intensa batalla entre Ash y Andy que codo a codo se acercaban a la meta. Batalla que duro hasta casi los últimos metros; y finalmente fué Andy quien demostró contar con un poco más de combustible y lograr una pequeña diferencia en los últimos 200mts. Una brillante corrida chicos y felicidades a Andy que lograba una nueva marca personal (PB) de 28:01
Continuaban las excelentes actuaciones con varios corredores finalizando la prueba y obteniendo grandes PBs. Norberto acompañaba a Tai que luego de algunas semanas afuera, retornaba a nuestras pistas y conseguía reducir 48 segundos de su marca personal.
Mientras tanto, al finalizar su corrida, nuestros participantes se distendían en nuestra “Área de Reunión” donde se relajaban, elongaban músculos y compartían historias con otros miembros mientras esperábamos que todos los participantes del día completaran su corrida.
Marce finalizaba en la posición veinte con un tiempo muy cercano a su marca personal, y finalmente arribaba Mary que luego de una excelente performance, en su segunda corrida lograba reducir su PB en más de 5 minutos. Un progreso impresionante Mary. Una genia!! Vamos por más.

“Otra gran experiencia en “La Reserva”; nuestro equipo y los eventos cada vez se encuentran más sólidos y continuamos sumando adeptos”
Asimismo, finalizando el evento, sorteamos una remera de BATT Argentina entre nuestros participantes y la afortunada ganadora fue Caro, al final del evento la mayor parte del grupo se reunieron en un after en las afueras de “La Reserva” y se organizaron para ir varios de ellos en grupo, de visita a la Carrera Dale Vida del día siguiente.
En resumen, fue una excelente mañana con la familia de BATT Argentina, donde todos y cada uno de los participantes aporta su granito de arena y deja su marca. Una huella donde todos somos parte.
Les deseamos una excelente semana y los esperamos a todos el próximo sábado para compartir otra grandiosa corrida en “La Reserva”.

BATT Argentina – Run Report – “La Reserva #46” (01/09/2018)
A wonderful morning on Saturday, a bit windy, but with excellent conditions for running; so from early hours, the volunteers Team of BATT Argentina arrived to “La Reserva” to start with all the event preparations.
Seb started the “course” checking lap to verify that all the all the conditions were in place and be able to develop a safe and secure event for everyone; and meanwhile, our volunteers started to welcome our first participants in our “Meeting Point” area.
A few new faces on the day, some of our regular participants and also, there was a few members coming back to our events after a few weeks away.
Two new members were included to our volunteers Team, with Sabrina y Dario providing a great support during the event and adding their own personal touch to the whole experience of the event. Thank you very much guys. It’s a pleasure to count with you in our team.
Seb was the Run Director of the day and after providing some general announcement and safety tips to all the participants, all together gave a big round of applause to all the volunteers of the day (Sabrina – Darío – Seb)
It is very important to remember that all our events are possible thanks to the valuable effort of all our members. All and each of them is a vital participant. All the BATT Argentina events are made between all of us.
“BATT Argentina IS THE FACE OF ALL ITS PARTICIPANTS “
All the day participants commenced their journey to the starting area. Our day Timer provided a few last safety advises and after our regular Ready … Set …. Goooooooo!! All our intrepid runners started their run at full speed and very quickly got disperse in our venues paths.
Dario and Walter started at full throttle and very quickly got settled on the Lead.
Nestor, one of our faster runners, on the day was running with his colleague Noe that was performing for the first time in our events and a bit backwards, returning after a few weeks away, there were Tai and Norberto that were also running together and were enjoying the beautiful scenarios of our field after some time off.
On the day, there was a quite a few intense and fierce battles during the run, with a lot of overtakings and positions changing various times; and back on base, our volunteers team was finishing with the set up of the finishing area and was anxiously awaiting for the arrival of the first participants.
And, once our chronograph was getting close to the 19:00min mark, that from the base we could start glancing the figure of the first of our participants, Dario. That managed to complete his first event with us with a brilliant time of 20:03.
In second place, performing an impressive spring finish as usual, Walter crossed the finish line reducing his previous best time by 13 second, obtaining a new PB of 21:31. Big congrats mate. Keep it up with the great progress.
During his run, Néstor separated from Noe, and got the third place of the run, and after him there was a waterfall of runners that were crossing the goal with some brilliant times.
Then, from the distance, all the members congregated in the finishing area could evidence the fierce battle between Ash and Andy, running side by side until the last 200mts when Andy proved to have a bit more gas in the tank, and managed to establish a small margin from his contestant. Well done guys. A brilliant run. And big congrats to Andy for achieving a brand new PB of 28:01.
Our participants continue to complete brilliant performances and also obtaining numerous PBs. Norberto was getting close to the goal still very close to Tai, that after a few weeks of rest, returning to our runs she managed to reduce 48 seconds from her personal best mark.
Meanwhile, after finishing their runs, all the participants were chilling in our “Meeting Point” area, where they were relaxing, stretching their muscles and sharing stories with the other members while they were waiting for the rest of the participants to complete their runs.
Marce finished in the 20th position with a time that was very close to her PB and at the end, Mary finished her run with a great performance, concluding her second run with use managing to reduce her previous time by more than 5 minutes. Impressive progress Mary. Big Congrats. A super star!

“Another great experience in” La Reserva “; our team and the events are becoming more solid and we continue to add participants”
To conclude the event, we made a raffle between all the day participants and Caro was the lucky winner of a brand new BATT Argentina T—Shirt; and afterwards most part of the group got together in an “after” outside “La Reserva” and got organised to visit “Carrera Dale Vida” 10K the following day.
To sum up, it was another excellent morning with the BATT Argentina family, where all and each of its participants is leaving their personal mark. Footprints from which we are all part.
