29 Aug BATT Argentina “La Reserva #45” – Reporte de la corrida (25/08/2018)
Una genial mañana en el sábado y desde muy tempranas horas el equipo de voluntarios de BATT Argentina comenzaba todas las preparaciones para poder contar con un seguro y fantástico evento en “La Reserva”.
Algunos de los voluntarios y participantes se congregaban en nuestro “Punto de Encuentro” y desde muy temprano daban la bienvenida a todos los demás los participantes del día.
Y esta semana, se incorporaban a nuestro equipo
de voluntarios de BATT Argentina dos de nuestras corredoras. Lu e Ingrid que, en vistas de su participación en la Media Maratón de Buenos Aires a celebrarse el domingo, optaron por participar en nuestro evento #45 brindando una mano en la organización del evento, controlando tiempos, sacando fotos y alentando a nuestros participantes.
Seb fue el director de la Corrida en el día y luego de brindar sus anuncios generales y dar algunos tips de seguridad a todos los participantes; todos realizaron una gran ronda de 
aplausos para todos los voluntarios del día (Ingrid – Lu – Milena – Pato – Crissie & Seb)
Es muy importante recordar que todos nuestros eventos se pueden llevar a cabo gracias al valioso aporte y voluntad de nuestros miembros. Todos y cada uno de nuestros miembros es un vital participante. Los eventos de BATT Argentina los hacemos entre todos.
“BATT Argentina ES LA CARA DE TODOS SUS PARTICIPANTES”
Todos los participantes del día se dirigían a la zona de largada y Lu, nuestra Fiscalizadora de tiempos en el día, daba el grito inicial luego de unos breves mensajes de seguridad.
Dickson y Gabriel tomaban la Punta rápidamente mientras un segundo
grupo conformado por las chicas, se asentaban bien cerca e intercambiaban sus posiciones durante la corrida.
Una maravillosa mañana con excelentes condiciones 
para el desarrollo de nuestra corrida. Y mientras la misma se desarrollaba, el equipo de voluntarios organizaba la zona de llegada y ansiosamente aguardaba la llegada de los primeros participantes
En el día, Dickson lograba cruzar la línea final 
en primer lugar con un tiempo de 22:37, que no fue una nueva marca personal, pero que muestran como de a poco nuestro querido amigo comienza a recuperar su performance. Una excelente performance Dickson. Muy bien 
hecho!
En segundo lugar, alcanzaba la meta Gabriel en su primera corrida oficial con nosotros. Cruzando la línea con un gran tiempo de 26:06 seguido por Su que, tras una intensa batalla con las chicas, alcanzaba la tercera posición del podio con un brillante tiempo que por solo 3 segundos no alcanzaba a superar su PB de 26:17.
Un poquito más atrás, llegaban las otras dos chicas con Maru y Pato, alcanzando la línea final en 26:26 (Nuevo PB de Maru) y 27:00 respectivamente.
Poco a poco, todos los participantes iban cruzando
la meta final. Mary, que anteriormente había participado como voluntaria, completaba su primera 
corrida con una fantástica actuación de 44:42 y luego, mientras los corredores se refrescaban y relajaban en la zona de llegada, alcanzaba la meta nuestra voluntaria de Cola Crissie, que normalmente se encarga de custodiar la retaguardia de los participantes. Gracias Crissie. Una genia! Muchas gracias por tu valioso aporte a nuestros eventos.
Nuevas PB: Maru (-0:33 s).
Finalizando la jornada, Maru y Mary fueron las afortunadas ganadoras en nuestro sorteo de remeras y luego de organizar y levantar todo el equipo utilizado, encaramos la salida.
“Otra gran experiencia en “La Reserva”; nuestro equipo y los eventos cada vez se encuentran más sólidos y continuamos sumando adeptos”
Al final del evento, la mayor parte del grupo se reunieron en un after a las afueras de “La Reserva” y se organizaron para ir como soporte a la Media Maratón de Buenos Aires que se celebraba el día siguiente
En resumen, fue una excelente mañana con la familia de BATT Argentina, donde todos y cada uno de los participantes aporta su granito de arena y deja su marca. Una huella donde todos somos parte.

BATT Argentina – Run Report – “La Reserva #45” (25/08/2018)
A wonderful morning to start the weekend and from early hours, the BATT Argentina volunteers Team started the setup operations to be able to have another fantastic and secure event in “La Reserva”.
A few volunteers and participants started getting together in our “Meeting Point” very early and started welcoming the rest of the day participants.
And this week, we greatly welcome two of our runners into the volunteers’ team. Lu and Ingrid had been training to perform in the Buenos Aires Half Marathon celebrated on Sunday, so they decided to participate in our 45th event providing a hand in the organization; controlling times, taking pictures and cheering for the rest of the participants.
Seb was our Run director of the day and after providing some general announcements 
and a few important safety tips; everyone joined in a big round of applause to thank all the day volunteers (Ingrid – Lu – Milena – Pato – Crissie & Seb).
It is very important to remember that all our events are possible thanks to the valuable effort of all our members. All and each of them is a vital participant. The BATT Argentina events are made between all of us.

All the day participants commenced their journey to the starting area. Lu, our day Timer, provided a few last safety advises and provided the signal to start the run.
Dickson and Gabriel took the lead from early stages closely followed by the group of ladies that kept interchanging positions during the whole trial.
It was a fantastic morning with great conditions for the development of a great run. And while our members where intending to complete our course, the volunteers team organized the finishing area and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of the first contestants.
On the day, Dickson managed to cross the finish line in first place with a time of 22:37, that although it wasn’t a PB, proves that our dear friend is starting to get back in shape. Great performance Dickson. Well done Buddy!
In second place, it was Gabriel getting to the finish in his first official run. Concluding it in 26:06, closely followed by Su that, after an intense battle with the girls, managed to clear some distance and obtain the third place of the podium with a brilliant time that was just 3 seconds short of her PB of 26:17.
A bit backwards, the other girls, Maru and Pato finished their run clocking 26:26 and 27:00 respectively. Great time girls! And a wonderful PB for Maru!!
Little by little, all our participants were arriving to the goal. Mary, who previously participated as volunteer in our events, completed her first run with a great performance and got a time of 42:42 and afterwards, while all our members were refreshing themselves and relaxing in our finishing area, Crissie, our Tale Volunteers managed to arrive to the goal, after taking care of every other participants safety running at their back. Thank you Crissie. You are a Star! Thank you for your valuable contribution to our events.

Finishing the day, Maru and Mary were the lucky winners in our T-Shirt raffle, and after arranging the place and taking out the equipment, we all together left our venue.

And to conclude this wonderful morning, most of us got together in the shops outside “La Reserva” for an “after” breakie and some of us got organized to visit the Buenos Aires Half Marathon the following day to cheers our participating fellow members.
To sum up, it was another excellent morning with the BATT Argentina family, where all and each of its participants is leaving their personal mark. Footprints from which we are all part.
