14 Aug BATT Argentina “La Reserva #43” – Reporte de la corrida (11/08/2018)
El sábado nos despertaba con una hermosa mañana y luego de arribar a “La Reserva”, el equipo de Voluntarios de BATT Argentina se ponía en acción para preparar la operatoria de nuestro evento #43.
Seb comenzaba su rutinaria vuelta de seguridad en el recorrido para corroborar que las condiciones del mismo fueran aptas y propicias para el desarrollo de nuestra corrida, los distintos participantes y voluntarios del día se empezaban a conglomerar en nuestro “Punto de Encuentro” mientras Magalí y Pato del equipo de voluntarios les daban la bienvenida.
En el día contábamos con la presencia de dos de nuestros participantes originarios Guille y JuanJo, quien retornando a la acción en nuestro recorrido y buscando completar su corrida #15 en “La Reserva” con la comunidad de BATT Argentina.
Con condiciones climáticas muy propicias y un recorrido muy apto para correr y divertirnos, el director del evento del día dio algunos anuncios generales y tips de seguridad a los participantes y antes de que estos se dirigieran a la línea de largada para tomar posiciones, todos los individuos presentes brindaron una muy cordial ronda de aplausos para todos los voluntarios del día (Magalí, Pato, Crissie, Silvi y Seb).
Con todos los participantes alineados en la largada y listos para comenzar la prueba, nuestra Fiscalizadora de Tiempos (Magalí) brindaba unos últimos anuncios de seguridad para todos y al grito de 3…….2……1; todos nuestros intrépidos encaraban los pasajes de “La Reserva” a todo vapor.
Walter, Rafa y Néstor rápidamente tomaban la delantera y en una intensa lucha por el primer puesto; intercambiaban posiciones mientras desarrollaban los 5km de nuestro recorrido. Un poco más retrasado, los seguían JuanJo, Maru como la primera de las chicas y Sebas que en el día intentaba distender algunas molestias en su pierna.
Y siguiendo la fila, nuestro campo se completaba con distintos participantes que, entre corrida, trote y marcha disfrutaban y buscaban completar nuestros 5K semanales.
En el día, Néstor resulto victorioso logrando cruzar la meta en 18:02; seguido por Rafa que en su novena participación en nuestros eventos lograba un magnifico PB de 21:07. Felicitaciones campeón! Sera el décimo el que marque tu sub-21min?
Walter completaba el podio logrando superar su marca personal por dos segundos, Maru cruzaba la línea final como primera dama en 27:41 y poco a poco todos nuestros participantes completaban su corrida.
Grandes actuaciones y marcas personales en la jornada, pero la que se lleva los laureles es Mili, quien en su segunda prueba en nuestro recorrido, finalizaba la vuelta casi 4 minutos más rápido que en la semana anterior. Una grande!! Vamos por mas Mili. Felicitaciones por este gran logro.
Luego, en nuestro sorteo improvisado de remeras de BATT Argentina, el ganador fue Néstor, que muy gentilmente insistió en rehacer el sorteo entre los demás participantes; y la ganadora fue Mili.
En resumen, fue una excelente mañana con la familia de BATT Argentina, donde todos y cada uno de los participantes dejó su granito de arena. Una huella donde todos somos parte.

Y al finalizar el evento, los miembros que se encontraban presentes, nos reunimos en uno de los puestos a la salida de “La Reserva” y celebramos el aniversario 32 de Néstor. Un excelente tiempo compartido que pudimos disfrutar entre todos.
Les deseamos una excelente semana y los esperamos a todos el próximo sábado para compartir otra grandiosa corrida en “La Reserva”.

BATT Argentina – Run Report – “La Reserva #43” (11/08/2018)
Saturday woke us up with a beautiful morning so, after arriving to our venue, the BATT Argentina Volunteers Team started the preparations to of the #43 event in “La Reserva”.
Seb started the “course” checking lap to verify that all the safety conditions were in place to be able to develop our weekly run; the different participants and volunteers started to join together in our “Meeting Point” while Magali and Pato from the volunteers team gave a warm welcome to all of them.
On the day, we have the privilege of having two of our “Originals”, with Guille and JuanJo, who was back in action in “La Reserva” course intending to complete his 15th event with the BATT Argentina community.
With great weather conditions and a great course for running and having fun, our Run Director of the day gave a few general announcements and a safety briefing to all the participants and, before all they direct themselves to the starting line and take their positions, all the present individuals gave a big round of applauses for all the day volunteers (Magalí, Pato, Crissie, Silvi and Seb).
With all our participants in place and ready to commence the trial, our Timer of the day (Magali) gave a few last-minute security announcements for all and after the awaited 3……2……1 shout; all our “Intrepids” face the different trails of “La Reserva” at full throttle.
Walter, Rafa and Nestor quickly got into the lead and in an intense battle for the first position, interchanged positions while completing the 5K of our course. A bit behind, it was JuanJo, Maru as the first lady and Sebas that was intending to get through some leg discomfort.
A bit backward, all the field got completed with different participant who, in-between running, trotting and marching were enjoying while intending to complete our weekly 5K.
Finally on the day, it was Nestor the one that crossed the finish line in first place with a time of 18:02s, followed by Rafa that in his 9th appearance in our events, managed to get a magnificent PB of 21:07. Congrats Champ. Maybe your 10th could be your first Sub-21?
Walter completed our podium beating his personal best by two seconds, Maru crossed the finish as the first lady in 27:41 and bit by bit, all our participants completed their run.
Great performances and personal bests on our run, but the person that takes all the applauses is Mili, who just in her second visit, managed to conclude the 5K almost 4 minutes faster than in her debut. What a Star!! Well done Mili. Congrats in this great achievement.
And afterwards, in our improvised BATT Argentina T-Shirt raffle, Nestor won again and asked to have the raffle re-done. So, at the end it was Mili the lucky winner.
To sum up, it was another excellent morning with the BATT Argentina family, where all and each of its participants is leaving their personal mark. Footprints from which we are all part.

After closing up our event, the present members, got together in one of the shops close to the entrance of “La Reserva” to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of Nestor. We shared a great time and it was a great way of concluding the day.
