24 Apr BATT Argentina “La Reserva #27” – Reporte de la corrida (21/04/2018)
Luego de un viernes bastante húmedo y de una continua llovizna, llegaba un nuevo BATTday y un reducido Equipo de Voluntarios de BATT Argentina arribaba a “La Reserva” bien temprano para corroborar las condiciones del terreno y realizar todos los preparativos necesarios y organizarse poder disfrutar de otro gran evento.
Lamentablemente, debido a la lluvia del día anterior, las puertas de “La Reserva” se encontraban cerradas por lo que rápidamente, los organizadores del evento se prepararon todas las condiciones, señales y equipos para poder llevar a cabo el evento utilizando nuestro recorrido Alternativo.
Importante: Se recuerda a todos nuestros miembros que, nuestros eventos no se cancelan por lluvia y en los casos en que en el día las puertas de “La Reserva” se encuentren cerradas, nuestro nuevo “Punto de Encuentro Alternativo” es en las inmediaciones de las puertas del “Acceso Viamonte” de la Reserva Ecológica de la Costanera Sur (Av. Int. Hernán. M. Giralt y Mariquita Sánchez de Thompson).
Llegaban los participantes y comenzaban a agruparse en nuestro “Punto de Encuentro Alternativo”, los voluntarios finalizaban con los preparativos y Seb se preparaba para dar los anuncios iniciales.
La seguridad de los participantes es fundamental en los eventos de BATT Argentina y como es su costumbre, Seb proporciono unos cortos anuncios para los 2 nuevos participantes del día, supo responder preguntas y aclaro las dudas naturales previas a la prueba. Luego proveyó unos breves anuncios para el resto de los corredores y culmino sus mensajes con un fuerte aplauso para los voluntarios del día.
Debemos recordar a nuestros miembros, que todos nuestros eventos son organizados y preparados gracias al esfuerzo y calidez de nuestro fantástico equipo de voluntarios. Existen muy variadas tareas que en su mayoría son muy sencillas; así que no hay excusas.

“TU ACCION PUEDE HACER LA DIFERENCIA”
El equipo de voluntarios tomaba posiciones, y los corredores partían para organizarse en la largada. Ezequiel conversaba con Carlos y discutían estrategias para completar el Recorrido alternativo de la manera más rápida.
Nuestra nueva Fiscalizadora de Tiempos tomaba su posición y tras unos últimos breves anuncios de seguridad.
PREPARADOS…. LISTOS…. YAAAAAA!!!!!! Y una estampida de participantes encaraban la primera recta.
Como era de esperarse, Carlos, Ezequiel, Bruno y Facundo rápidamente se consolidaron al frente y buscaban solidificar una posición de liderazgo.
Asimismo, siguiendo a los corredores de Punta, los dos nuevos participantes, Gustavo y Emanuel demostraban habilidades y junto con Susana, mantenían un ritmo consistente y continuo.
En la retaguardia, como es costumbre, se encontraba nuestra Voluntaria de Cola, Zully que nuevamente garantizaba la seguridad de nuestros corredores. Nuevamente gracias Zully! Una pieza clave en nuestro equipo.
Durante el transcurso de la corrida, quedaba en evidencia que la batalla por la Punta se definiría entre Carlos y Ezequiel ya que lograron marcar una clara diferencia sobre los otros dos participantes.
Por lo que, Bruno y Facundo, que aún se encontraban cercanos de los líderes, focalizaban sus fuerzas en tratar de conseguir el último escalón del podio.
El equipo de voluntarios se encontraba preparado en la zona de llegada y a lo lejos 
empezaban a divisar al primero de nuestros participantes que se acercaba a la meta a gran velocidad. Ezequiel, quien se encontraba corriendo en el curso alternativo por primera vez, cruzaba la línea final en primer lugar en 16:49 y lograba marca el mejor tiempo del recorrido.
Bien de cerca finalizaba la corrida Carlos que lograba una nueva Marca Personal de 18:02 y finalmente, consiguiendo el 
tercer puesto luego de una intensa batalla con Bruno, Facundo cruzaba la línea de llegada en 20:47 y también conseguía una nueva MP.
Bruno concluyó unos pocos segundos detrás, y tras un breve lapso todos los demás corredores se acercaban a la meta y concluían su corrida.

Nuevos Participantes: Gonzalo (23:42) y Emmanuel (28:23)

BATT Argentina “La Reserva #27” – Run Report (21/04/2018)
After having a quite wet Friday with high humidity and a long consistent drizzle, a smaller BATT Argentina Volunteers Team arrived to “La Reserva” very early to check the ground conditions on our course and to make all the necessary preparations to be able to enjoy another great event with all our members.
Sadly, because of the rain on the previous day, the gates of “La Reserva” were shut because the conditions of the ground weren’t neither safe nor appropriate for the general public. So, in just a sec, the event organizers started setting up the signs and necessary equipment to be able to carry on with the event using the “La Reserva” Back-Up course.
Important: We have to remind all our members that, our events are never cancelled because of rain and in cases where the gates of “La Reserva” are not opened on the day, our new “Back-up Meeting Point” is in the proximities of the “Viamonte Access Gates” (Av. Int. Hernán. M. Giralt y Mariquita Sánchez de Thompson).
The participants started to arrive and congregating, our volunteers finished off with the remaining preparations and Seb was getting ready to give his brief initial announcements.
Health & Safety of all the participants plays a key role in all BATT Argentina events and as usual, Seb gave some short briefing to the two First Timers and answered all their questions so everyone was clear about the conditions on the events.
Then, he gave the usual initial announcements to the resto of our participants, finishing off with a big round of applauses for the day volunteers.
Also, it’s important to remember that all our events are organized and managed thanks to the warm effort of our fantastic volunteers Team. The tasks are varied and quite simple to be honest, so no excuses.

“YOUR ACTION MAKES THE DIFFERENCE”
The volunteers got ready and took their places and the day runners started to get organized in the start line. Ezequiel and Carlos were getting ready and discussing strategies on how to tackle the Back-up course (Photo Carlos y Ezequiel)
Our Timer of the day got ready on her spot and after a few short Safety announcements.
READY….. SET ….. GOOOOOOO!! And stampede of participants faced the first straight of the course.
As it was expected, Carlos, Bruno, Ezequiel and Facu took an early lead and managed to separate from the rest of the field.
Furthermore, not that far back, the two new First Timers were showing their skills and along with Susana, they managed to maintain a serious and consistent rhythm.
As per usual, taking care of the back of the participants, It was Zully acting as a Tale Volunteer to guarantee the safety of all of them. Thank you very much Zully. You are a star!
During the run, it was becoming evident that the battle for the top position was going to be between just two of the Guys, with Carlos and Ezequiel getting a clear difference over the other two buddies.
So, back the field, Bruno and Facu where pushing together not that far from the leaders, just focusing on trying to gain that last step in the podium
Back at the base, the volunteers Team was getting ready to welcome the first competitors; and from the distance they can start seeing our first participants getting close to the finish at full speed. Ezequiel, who was running the back-up course for the first time, crossed the line in first place and set up a new Backup course PB of 16:49.
Carlos was pretty close and managed to crossed the finish line 18:02, a new PB for him in this course, while after an intense battle with Bruno, Facu managed to clock a new Personal Best time of 20:47 and get the third place.
Bruno finished his run a few seconds later, and slowly and bit by bit all the participants concluded their runs.
