22 Jan BATT Argentina “La Reserva #14” – Reporte de la corrida (20/01/2018)
Llegamos a un nuevo sábado y la ciudad de Buenos Aires se despertaba con una hermosa y soleada mañana. Un fantástico día, calurosa mañana, pero afortunadamente estábamos acompañados por una muy agradable brisa del Sudeste.
Todo el Equipo de Voluntarios coordinado por Agus arribaba desde temprano a la Reserva para llevar a cabo los preparativos del evento (Chequeando las condiciones del terreno, preparando el equipo y tomando todas las medidas necesarias para asegurar la seguridad de nuestros participantes).
El verano continúa sintiéndose en Buenos Aires, pero eso no detiene a nuestros miembros; quienes semana a semana vuelven a “La Reserva” para disfrutar de otro más de nuestros eventos. Y como siempre también dándole la bienvenida a nuevos miembros que se animan a sortear nuestro recorrido participando de nuestras corridas.
Con todos los participantes reunidos en nuestro “Punto de Encuentro”, Seb se encargó de difundir unos breves mensajes informativos y algunos tips para asegurar la seguridad de los participantes y de todos los individuos en la reserva. 
Finalizando con un gran agradecimiento para todos los miembros que actuaban como voluntarios en el día.
Todos tomaban sus posiciones; nuestros voluntarios proveían las ultimas indicaciones de seguridad a los corredores, mientras estos se colocaban en la línea de largada y aguardaban ansiosos el anuncio inicial.
PREPARADOS ….. LISTOS ….. YAAAAAAA!!! Y todos nuestros participantes se embarcaron en dulce montón …..
Y esta semana, dos de nuestros nuevos participantes, Ezequiel y Rodo partieron fuertemente decididos; estableciéndose como grupo líder. Y manteniendo un tranco firme poco a poco lograban separarse del resto del pelotón.
Posteriormente, Rodo reconoció no haber estado sintiéndose cómodo a ese paso por lo que Ezequiel pudo tomar la punta y establecerse en la delantera. Seguramente podremos ver mucho más de estos dos en futuras corridas.
Dentro del segundo grupo, también existía otra pequeña batalla de posiciones por alcanzar el tercer puesto. El esperado retorno de Leandro a nuestras corridas y JuanJo quien estaba muy enfocado en tratar de volver a obtener una nueva marca personal por tercera semana consecutiva.
Un poco mas atrás, se encontraba el resto de los corredores con el retorno de Natalia a nuestras filas, corriendo junto con una de nuestras nuevas corredoras, Majo!!
Como comentamos anteriormente, durante el transcurso de la prueba, Ezequiel consiguió obtener una segura diferencia sobre el segundo y logró completar su primer evento en “La Reserva” estableciendo una nueva Marca del recorrido de 19:42. Un Campeon!!
En segundo puesto, también completando su primer evento con nosotros, llegaba Rodo con un tiempo de 23:27. Y finalmente, tomando el tercer puesto, luego de superar a Leandro por un corto margen en la recta final,
Juanjo concluía su corrida con un tiempo de 23:57 y logrando así una nueva Marca Personal.
Felicitaciones campeón!! Tres MP seguidas y un pajarito nos ha contado que vas por más.
A medida que los participantes concluían sus corridas, se iban agrupando en el “área de Reunión” para refrescarse, estirar músculos y compartir un grato momento de distención y mientras tanto, todos los demás participantes concluían sus corridas y se unían la fiesta.
Nuestro infaltable, gratificante y muy merecido “Tercer Tiempo” con Mate y Cookies que se vio completo con la llegada de Zully; quien nuevamente prestaba una valiosa mano al equipo de voluntarios tomando la posición de Corredor/Peatón de cola para seguridad y protección de todos los participantes.

BATT Argentina “La Reserva #14” – Run Report (20/01/2018)
We arrived on Saturday and the city of Buenos Aires woke us up with a beautiful and sunny morning. A fantastic day; a bit hot morning but fortunately there was a very pleasant breeze from the Southeast.
All the Team of Volunteers coordinated by Agus arrived early to “La Reserva” to carry out the preparations for the event (Checking course conditions, preparing the equipment, marking the course and taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of our participants).
Summer continues to hit strongly in Buenos Aires, but that does not stop our members; who every week return to “La Reserva” to enjoy another of our events. And as usual, also welcoming new members who dare to overcome our journey participating in our runs.
With all the participants gathered in our “Meting Point”, Seb was in charge of providing some brief announcements and some tips to ensure the safety of the participants and of all the individuals in the reserve. Finishing as usual with a big thank you to all the members that acted as volunteers on the day.
Everyone took their positions; Our volunteers provided the latest safety instructions to the runners, while they were anxiously waiting for the initial announcement at the starting line.
READY…. SET….. GOOOOOO !!!!!! And all our participants embarked on a sweet bunch …
And this week, two of our new participants, Ezequiel and Rodo departed incredibly focused and soon establishing themselves as leading group. Keeping a firm pace, little by little, they were managing to separate from the rest of the field.
Later on, Rodo realised that he was pushing a bit too much trying to keep with that pace so Ezequiel could take the lead and settle in front. Surely, we are going to see much more of these two in future events.
Within the second group, there was also another small battle of to reach the third place. An expected return of Leandro to our runs and JuanJo who was very focused on trying to get a New Personal Best for a third consecutive week. A little further back, was the rest of the runners with the return of Natalia, who was running along with one of our new runners, Majo!
As we commented previously, during the course of the run, Ezequiel managed to obtain a clear margin over the second participant and managed to complete his first event in “La Reserva” establishing a new Course Record course in 19:42. In second place, also completing his first event with us, arrived Rodo with a time of 23:27.
And finally, taking the third place, after overcoming Leandro by a short margin in the final straight, Juanjo finished his run in 23:57 and thus achieving a new Personal Best.
Congratulations mate! Three PBs in a row a little bird is telling us that you are coming for more …
As the participants concluded their runs, they grouped together in the “Meeting area” to refresh themselves, stretch their muscles and share a pleasant moment of distention; while all the other participants concluded their runs and joined the party.
Our inevitable, rewarding and well deserved “Third Time” with Mate and Cookies that was completed with the arrival of Zully; who again lent a valuable hand to the team of volunteers taking the position of Tale Runner/Walker for safety and protection of all participants.
“Another great experience in” La Reserva “; our team and the events are becoming more solid and we continue to add participants to the community “
